How so? They are only trialling new rules FFS. Desperate would be introducing new rules mid season without any trialsTerry wrote: Fri Jun 22, 2018 11:20 amIts a sad state of affairs when a sport is such an ugly mess it needs to have mid season secret training sessions to trial new rules and try and save the game.
a commonly used excuse by RL fans. Melbourne just happens to be judged the most livable city in the world, and it isnt just because it is the sports centre of Australia. NRL fans drop off in huge numbers when the weather is too cold, but also too hot, and too wet. Yet funnily enough, when the weather is idea there's apparently so much else to do in Sydney they dont go to NRL games either! The crowds are still coming at the moment but anyone living in Bleakbourne or the desert state capitals will do anything to take their minds off their dreary existence.
I suspect it will decline as quickly as the NRL crowds have risen over the last decadeThis story has a long way to play out yet. Anything Gilty and his mates come up with is fraught with danger. This is a critical time for the fumbling game. I suspect the downward spiral will continue.
