And the AFL is the most watched competition in this country.
See, we're both winners in a way.
Except one is worth considerably more.
Premium product always commands a premium price.

Um according to AFL fan logic
RL is worth more .

We got slightly less for less content & the famous 50% less airtime .

Imagine the bucks the NRL would be getting if we gave our players more resty time during matches like the AFL?

The equivalent resty time, to equal all the goals and quarters would be if our NRL lads would take a 1minute stoppage time at the end of every set of six. So for example the NRL could ask players on the completion of the fourth tackle of each set to stop have a goooooood resty time and put an add break in.

That'd be about the equivalent for sure, probably a bit conservative if anything. Heaps more adds and tv revenue then. But....the game would become shithouse

Forgive my simplistic view on the broadcast deals.
The NRL receive 450mil per season.
The AFL receive 500mil per season.
Or approximately 2mil per round more.
There's no logic I'm aware of that puts the NRL in a superior position based on the actual amount paid to each league for their respective products.
As I've started several times, premium products demand premium prices.
Thank you,
Come again.....

Oh dear .
We are using the lol method .
He uses it for tv ratings .
3hr broadcast v a 2 hr broadcast on FTA
On STV a 2hr game v an 80 min game .
Each AFL game/ broadcast is 50% longer than a RL broadcast..
You still with me ..don't run off into the jungle

Now here's the easy bit .
Per hr screen time ...RL gets far more $$$$$$

That's using the lol method ....if it applies to ratings
Then it can also apply to $$ for broadcast time .

Thank you come again .

RL the premium product...earns far more per hr than AFL .

it's nowhere near that simple! If the NRL showed 6 of their games against each other they wouldnt get the same overall cash because instead of 8 games available for the entire market, there would only be 4 games.

Oh yes it is .
Apparently when Rl wins anything compared to AFL you go into a long winded bullshit rant because as a cult member you just can't accept that the AFL is beaten.

Jungle drums are beating . We've been over & over the pros & cons of your broadcast .

I've said it many times, I have no issue that the NRL are paid more money per content. That's the price the AFL paid for insisting on a schedule that suits fans, not just TV

you've been proven wrong. Our bye rounds average way more per game despite home markets not being targeted because all games are shown in isolation

So, by receiving approx 2mil more per round than the NRL the AFL got a worse deal?
Is that what your saying crap?
