Decent turnout given the rain. No doubt kept some away. Cant help it if they buy a ticket but stay home due to the weather

Come on pal.......this is indefensible.....it's a joke!!!!!!! No locals bought tickets.....Silly Gilly have 5k away to locals who didn't turn up.....same as last year. You can make excuses all you like but it won't change the result. Check out social media my friend......The AFL are being laughed at and lampooned mercilessly!!!!

Read the game day a thread at Big Footy .
It's hilarious
There's plenty of posts about how absolutely shocking the crowd is .
Apparently about 3k P Sadelaide supporters went .
Lol
By the looks of the crowd about half of them went sightseeing instead of going to the game .
If there was 2,500 there ..then that's prob an accurate estimate .

As sure as the sun rises in the East & sets in the West ..this thread will end up like most of Beas .
A huge fail .

I have a question .
Is an "ANTICIPATED SELL OUT" the same as last years proclaimed SELLOUT where there were about 5 k missing all game .
Apparently the AFL esteemed leader thought they were out the back all game eating .
Lol
No prizes for being right .
You just have to follow the usual AFL bullshit script
lol

Twitter is comedy gold .read the comments. :(/ :(/

When the rain stopped, the stands quickly filled up with locals, standing room only. Some delays in getting more locals seated before the bounce (as rumor has it ) was due to a catering malfunction forcing a long wait for food orders.

Silly Gilly is incredibly, again, saying the crowd was in the hospitality marquees behind the stands!!!!! This is how stupid Gilly thinks the average AFL fan is!!!!! Sadly I suspect he will be proven correct.

Why would the AFL announce a sellout weeks before the event if had only half sold?

Three billion Chinese watching this match on tv adds up to a very successful result.

Because they do exactly the same thing as they do at GWS games - give away free tickets & then count them in the 'crowd' number.

I would suggest they gave away 5k tickets to locals who then didn't turn up but still got counted. Simple AFL propaganda 101.
