Woeful stuff for the fumbling league. Those ratings are horrendous They've had a really bad year thus far. The ladies game completely tanked. The X freak show was laughed outta town and the ratings numbers for the start of the year are shocking.

Interestingly, first time I’ve ever seen a secondary channel appear in the Top 20 programs listing for the day. Those Sydney derby post match figures seem odd.

Unlike the AFL, the NRL FTA Sunday game has failed to make Top 20 two weeks running now.

The NRL covers a huge a mount of territory . Canberra to the top of Australia and reaching as far as NZ. Newcastle, Canberra and Illawarra are not Sydney. Just as the Gold Coast and Nth Qld are not Brisbane and NZ isn't Sydney either.
Yet they all watch the same telecast.
