Lol
You are braindead
It's the nicest thing I can say
I post some footage of Field goals
You claim they're in front or from 20-30 Mtrs out .
You just make it up as you have no argument ...
I explain the difficulty difference between a drop goal & just kicking by dropping it on your foot .
Plus the difficulty of getting it over a cross bar .
You just plough on posting bullshit or rubbish .
You wank over BUDDy on an angle ..lol
Go look at RL ..Anastas Fg or Richards
Near the sideline ..not in front as you wrongly claim
& further than 20- 30 Mtrs out
You're full of shit .
I said MOST field goals are from 20-30m out
Sure, you get some decent kicks for goal, but they are few and far between, and never on the run which increases difficult substantially. As I said, goals like that are a dime a dozen in AFL. Show me a video of a RL player running down the sideline and kicking a goal from 60m and I'll be convinced
Oh my
You are thick
Not ordinary thick but Southern fumbleball braindead thick
What don't you understand about how kicking a ball between posts is far easier than kicking a ball between posts but having yo clear a crossbar .
What don't you understand about having yo drop the ball on the ground before kicking it makes it far far far harder than just dropping it on your boot .
Until you address the differences then you are you stupid yo argue with .
you're too thick to realise that every set shot at goal in the AFL needs to clear players on the goal line. If the ball is touched its no longer a goal. That easily accounts for any cross bar
Yes, kicking a drop kick while stationary and balanced is harder than kicking normal kick while stationary and balanced, but kicking a drop punt accurately while running full pace and being chased is also a lot more difficult

Pretty much like the field goals that Thurston has done numerous times for the cowboys. And that is over a crossbar like you said.

Any movies of them?

Lol I posted plenty of FGs
You chose to ignore that & talk shit .
Rambling about 20-30 Mtrs out & in front .
Most were not 20-30 out & nearly all are nowhere near being in front
Why is that .

I originally asked for video of RL players kicking goals while on the run. Apparently Thurston has done it often. Video or I call BS

Pass run kick.
Without a doubt Thurston would be as good a kicker as Buddy Franklin.
IF AFL WAS SERIOUS ABOUT IMPROVING THE SKILLSET OF GOAL KICKING IN THEIR GAME. THEY WOULD ADD A CROSSBAR TO THEIR GOALS. AND REMOVE SIDE GOALS.
AFL IS THE EASIEST GOAL KICKING SYSTEM IN THE WORLD.
EASIER THAN UNION, LEAGUE, GRID IRON AND SOCCER.
HENCE THE HUGE SCORELINES IN AFL.

Without a doubt Rugby League field goals make it that much more challenging when a crossbar is involved and zero points for a miss.

30m out, straight in front of goal, he takes 3 leisurely steps and kicks.
Yeah that's exactly like Buddy kicking a goal from an angle over 50m while running at full pace and being chased.

None of these players are under immediate pressure from an opponent. None are sprinting or even jogging!
A cross bar means nothing when AFL players clear players on the goal line anyway

Idiot
I can see your jealous insecurities from a mile away lol.. Buddy Franklins scores 90% of his goals from taking a mark and not even running with the ball.

jealous of your empty stadiums and smaller ratings?
No, Buddy wouldnt score 90% of his goals from set shots. It'd be close to 50/50
The very first kick has a guy running full speed at him in white. There are kicks from the 50 metre mark too.
LOL what a dickhead, trying to hide what is completely obvious
Keep trying to convince yourself, if you think it might help you
I dont care if someone was running at him! He was basically stationary. Show me a RL player kicking a goal while running full pace.

Jesus
If you had a clue
Which going by your posting the answer is NO
It's virtually impossible to drop kick when running at full pace .
Why .
Because it's much much much more difficult when the ball has to hit the ground before being kicked .
I hope a light goes on somewhere in the dim recesses of your brain .
& you realise the difficulty factor is multiplied many times when you try to vp compare a normal kick on the run to a drop kick .
