From U10-U17 - note it can vary from club to club

Club.......Code Stqate Fees
Easts..... .AFL NSW $225-$255
Easts...... FFA NSW $420-$500
Bankstown NRL NSW $105.00
Hills........ARU NSW $175.00
In QLD the AFL seems to have a standard fee .
In RL it varies club to club .
At Redcliffe it's $155 across the board for juniors
At Burleigh it's

Registration Fees:

Ages 6 ............$195 (born between 01/01/2011 & 01/04/2012)

Ages 7-9 .........$235

Ages 10-12 .....$255

Ages 13-17 .....$285

My point which was missed by the not so bright is the DT article is comparing the minimum RL rego cost to averages .

Lol
They seem to cater to the lesser lights in society .
I wonder if they did the reverse( laughable that they'd do that) & had compared the minimum Aflol cost to RL average .
Lol that'd have the dingbat frothing .

Here's the AFL qld cost

Wish it was only that much. I paid something like 260 dollars last year. Maybe that doesn't include insurance or maybe the club chuck on a fee on top of aflq fees? But certainly wasn't 130 dollars. I could only wish. I will get the exact figures from the boss.

Your a fucken hypocrite spazza
When it doesn't suit you say it's made up rubbish & not a credible source then when it suits your agenda you take is as gospel

So you've got absolutely nothing to contribute to this topic?
Just rant rant rant .
Until you understand that the figures are skewed .
That the figures are not a fair average comparison across the codes then it's no use trying to explain it .
You're just not a very bright boy .

Well Fred .
Seeing as you posted no proof ...just your word then forgive me for being skeptical .
AFL posters on here( a few exceptions) have a shocking record posting anything close to the truth or factual .

Your effort a few days ago with your inability to address your post about AFL in NZ v RL in Vic .....lumps you in that class .
Until, evidence is produced I will go by what I found on the Aflq site .

Sorry freddy
You post bullshit then avoid talking aBout it then you get labelled .

I addressed and explained the nz AFL vic rl thing and agreed must of worded it poorly and apologised ... hardly an action of perptuating a lie.

In this case it is very black and white. No room for confusion or poorly explained. That is what I paid this year. I have no need to lie and would argue lower fees could suggest higher popularity as there is more money flowing in. The Coles principal if you like. But you could argue which ever way you want, I simply don't care nor see relevance whether rl, ru or AFL have higher or lower fees. I think fees for AFL are way to high and if you have a few kids is quite restrictive. Nearly 1000 dollars last year for me which was exorbitant. Thank goodness the boys decided not to play and focus on another sport. Least I can pay that one by the month.

I haven't read the who thread, but why is there an arguenrny over fees anyway? And is the argument that lower or higher fees are better, worse or whatever?

Maybe the poor in South America or africa or better still kids should play the game in Juniors for free, heard today on SEN from a caller that to play rep soccer at the first rung is 6k a year, even to play ordinary junior soccer is something like $800 a season which is more than twice the fees for AFL. One of the main reasons I cant get into the game.
Sorry to say your mate is either telling you porkies, or something else, because grassroots football ie what most the kids play in NSW fees are not that high.
Yeah whatever:
Football/soccer is the most costly code

Registration fees for rugby league start from just $100

Meanwhile, soccer fees can be as high as $300.

Rugby union, which was the second most expensive code at an average of $214, has a similar set up to soccer with fees being handed up toward national and state associations.

Meanwhile, Australian rules football had a mean cost of $203 for junior players

Bea posted this .
I highlighted that there was no fair comparison.as in the DTs usual Anti Rl way they compared the start up cost of RL to averages or the Highest.

& as usual the resident braindead Got all excited ..
I tried to explain it but all you get is the usual rants ...ramblings & incoherent crap .

It's not hard to understand that unless you average all The fees for each code there is no fair comparison .

Lol league has he lowest fees out of the codes as well as the fewest players!
Is registration fees league so much lower than the other codes so the tin foil hat loons and the meat heads that play such a boring game can afford the costs out of their disability pension?

I just don't get it as to why anyone would be arguing one way or another as to why cost of fees matters or what it represents. But that's just me I guess.
