I think gws need to lose as it will be bad for them i think. A loss will highlight the team and set people up for higher expectations next year and going forward. A win this year many will see as manufactured. I would also hate to see wb win gf as clearly not the best side this year. Geelong for me.
Lol
So only if they win the flag ...lol flag would it seem manufactured .

Go read big footy
Many already know that the midgets success is manufactured .
You know it I know it ...I have posted about it many times ...yet you mob blindly ignore the corrupt way the comp is run .

I thought there appeared to be a lot of gws fans there. Lots of orange in the crowd and very vocal.

Somehow I dont think the AFL would be dissapointed with last nights result.

As for 12 fans, you obviously didnt watch the game. Check the highlights out to see the actual number of giants fans there. By AFL standards their following is still small, bet certainly growing. Once they've had a sustained era of success they'll build a respectable following

The Only reason is even considering an Upgrade is because of cricket
and the 20/20 World CUP

not the giants
Doesn't really matter what all the reasons are I for one think that a bigger stadium may also attract RL teams and A League games there could be a variety of reasons but a 36k stadium would clearly benefit the Giants.
rectangle grounds are pathetic on oval grounds.

it does nothing for the footy codes
bar the giants cricket and easter show..
Then why does St.George play at SCG? I don't in this day and age it is as big of a deal as it is made out no one seemed to worry about it back in the day when we didn't have big screens at the ground.
Is a much better experience for the spectators to watch rectangular codes on a propper rectangular ground.

This is why ANZ is going to be a permanent state of the art rectangular ground when upgraded. Never being able to be used by AFL again.

Rugby League, Union and Soccer will have the biggest and best stadium in Sydney with a roof too.

Must make AFL feel a bit hard done by.  =D> =D>

Lol sustained success .
Try manufactured success l
Victaaaards mite lap up success in
the rigged comp .
Others not in the brainwashed bubble see it for what it really is .
A contrived compromised comp .
No level playing field
Success is not built on better coaching....or a great team effort or anything like what happens in an even comp .
It's built on receiving extra benefits
...extra money
Being given the best young talent .

There endeth your lesson today .
But hey
You'd make a great AFL propaganda minister

Firstly AFL crap you constantly refer to ********. Leaving aside the vulgarity of the term i think you forget that those in wa and sa are probably more prochial than victorians. But i get you are trying to belittle a game you apparently do not care about. I have never understood the whole "victorian" and southerners comments but anyway.

With the whole compromised comp thing. I think you will find many AFL followers agree. See the bulldogs banner for instance and hence most victorians going for bulldogs. I think if it was just salary cap and draft concessions we would be seeing a suns v giants gf. Both had similar concessions. So there must be something else at play i would assume. Again, no conessions would be uneven as well but towards gws. In my opinion off feild concessions would not be enough to even up the disadvantages of being a start up team that is also in a non traditional market. I know we disagree on that but hey if we all agreed it would be a boring forum.

Those AFL draft concessions are massively rigged towards GWS. AFL knows everyone loves a winner.

I really hope NRL don't adopt the shit AFL draft system.

You just have to look at how much more evenly matched the NRL comp is to the AFL comp.
Hawks winning the AFL premiership 3 years running proves this.

The AFL gave both the suns and giants massive concessions to develop a competitive team. Wont mean schmick in a few years due to salary cap pressure, and no more draft concessions

As for no one outside Melbourne caring, look at the national ratings. Biggest stv ratings for AFL ever
