And your lot stole it from Rugby League just like the lot in the Premier League who stole the name the Red Devils from the local Rugby League side from Salford who were given the name by the French in the 1930's :D

Might have to buy you a beer and argue about that, I do know that there was a football game in 1914 that was termed a local derby in the UK, not sure earlier than that, but I think we can ignore the French and conclude it is a very English term so One of us would have used it first.

I didn't know that about the Red Devils, but as a Tottenham fan I couldn't care less LOL
