Go for a drive around the streets and see if any kid has a rl ball ... Or in schools.. If any kid is throwing a rl ball. I hazard to guess this would be worse in sa and tassie.
Soccer and AF is everywhere in Vic although there are two clubs with half an hr of where I live not every grade has a side - out the west of Melb it has more teams and players but you couldn't describe it as mainstream more a niche sport mainly played by islanders before they switch to RU. Which AF is most prob has more support in NSW and QLD but still a niche support - Soccer is played by the most in Melb but they all follow the AFL that's the big difference down here it's not one thing or the other it's usually people play and follow all codes if they can. To hate a sport is a Sydney thing!

Check out tassie for this year. I just did and the nrl tassie site said there was no fixture this year but are looking to continue to grow the game in tasmania. I could not find anywhere else but if others can please do

Yeah but they are still playing footy down there in some other capacity you drongo, that's the point, an open age team might not be able to have a full comp yet, but you can be sure that somewhere else underneath, there will be juniors playing. Oh, and it all comes under Victorian RL for a start, so if you want to have a look, may I suggest heading there because the storm and vic rl seem to be running whatever it is they are running, down there.

Might help if just one of these lying flogs would bother to actually look before opening their big lying fucking mouths.

Oh and a quick edit just to let you know that TASRL is real and they are indeed looking after TASRL and not Vic RL anymore.

What cool aide are you drinking - NRL
No presence outside of eastern states.
5 teams outside out NSW but only 1 outside of NSW/QLD.

You count Canberra yet you don't for AFL.
Your sport has the lowest of any participation rate - half the crowds, 3rd of membership, 100 mil less in revenue. Keep deluding yourself!
Lol what a ******** rant

No presence .
You fucking **** .

I don't count Canb...because there's no fucking AFL team based there .
Our sport has a far higher participation rate .
1.4 million .
Anything else you like to bullshit about .

& I love how you ignored my facts about the cities .

That is like saying the NRL has a team in perth cause they play a few games there a year..

Swannies,

just because the AFL can plant a team on the Gold Coast and Western Sydney
doesn't make it more national..

NRL could do the same in Adelaide and Tassy.

and pump millions into each year..
and act like everything is ok too..

Oh fuck off using touch football to boost participation is like using indoor cricket to boost cricket it's BS and we know that RL uses the Ol RL experience - you are fucked in the head if you think that your participation is higher than AFL - but then again something we already knew - your a 12 yr old believing everything at RL HQ again and regurgitating it verbatim!

No the same side DOESNT play 3 games there - GWS do and recognise Canberra as another home ground whether you like it or not we can claim it - Perth has Souths and Manly play in Perth this year and an international. We also have Hobart as well! You have 3 Capitol cities - 3 regional centres and 1 OS. We have 5 capitols and 2 regionals!

You will note para No comp this year in tassie? Did you not see that? It is not a criticism just pointing out there is little in the way of rl outside traditional areas.

:(/ the old nrlol and their fudged figures
In statistics done by Roy Morgan and the abs show AFL's participations rates are far more greater than the nrlol! And are more believe able considering AFL has healthy leagues all around Australia including NSW and qld while next to no one plays league out side of NSW and qld! Spazza
