^ if you don't have anything constructive to present then don't post at all

Actually coming from you, if that were the case we wouldn't see you post at all

Anyway laugh it up parradirtyDEELS, your shit Parramatta side with rookie admins and cant win a comp in over 30 years doesn't have much strong followers, So I wouldn't talk.

Your joke of a club, covers one of the biggest areas of suppose NRL "Heartland" of Sydney and still struggles for crowds, members and dollars

Sure, the lions have never sold out their ground, they have been shit for years and those pretty seats at the gabba tend to hide non attendances quite well. What I have seen of the Lions, they'd be lucky to be getting 12k each game.

BS shickshit no1 you got any proof of the lions never selling out the ground? in around 2003 to 2010 the lions averaged around 30k the gabba
over the last decade the gabba has been transformed in to a totally different ground,

their whole average at the gabba is around 25k
http://afltables.com/AFL/crowds/brisbanel.html

thats better than nearly every NRLOL clubs!
thats twice as much as your shit tank irrelevant minnows eels
so going by those state the lions are far better supported than nearly every NRLOL team :\:

brisbane is a band wagon city as proven with the roar, lions and broncos! all they have to do is win a few games & the crowds will come back :)))

keep living in denial retarrrd :thumbleft:

Just a point in note..a crowd figure and tickets sold are not the same. Just thought i would make that distinction.

That Lions Game
looked like a Collingwood home game lol

QLD teams rely too much on Expats of other teams for support
to boost the Crowd figure..

Living in qld i know that rl is by far the most dominate. There are areas where it does okay and i can speak of thr gold coast where there is a strong following at grass roots and two sides or maybe three in the neafl. One is suns but southport and another team also play at this level. Certainly as you travel inland and more bush areas rl gets stronger .... But you can still find an AFL team in most parts. Same cannot be said about rl outside traditional areas. There is only on league covering melbourne going to geelong and out to berwick. If you live in morwell or warnable you can not play rl realistically. You do not even see kids playing it and not played in many schools. Some private schools have it as a comp but more union there. But i have never seen kids playing rl or ru in the playground but in qld you see AFL in the playground all the time.. Along with soccer and rl and union etc. I think qld is much more accepting in that regard. Thete are also a lot of excellence programs in school for AFL and the othet sports. Coming up is the regional school comps which should be good.
