I await the AFL equivalent .
Lol
I'll be waiting awhile
I think AFL will remove the side goals for missed kicks and add a crossbar before that happens.

Adelaide and Geelong. Wow that's international AFL for you. Two teams in the same country battling each other.

Even funnier watching players born in Australia representing another country - yeah that's a REAL competition NRLwelaughatoursmallPenises! :_<> :_<> :_<>
Go back to page 1 where Dockhead had a wank over Dipper .

Just because someone of that code starts something doesn't mean we all agree. I don't care who a code supposably represents - it's all perception anyway.

I think there is a site listing all AFL players from either born overseas and or with one parent from overseas. Given it is a domestic comp i would not expect many players from overseas

Both you codes are pretty pathetic arguing on this respect compared to football.
Data from 2011/12 in A League
87% of players had at least 1 or more grandparent born overseas
68% had 1 or more parent born overseas
33% were themselves born overseas
Bernie Ibini born in Nigeria, grew up here, has played for Australia
From the smh.com.au
That desire is perhaps the reason why the list of young Australians of African descent grows with each season, such as Bruce Kamau, Osama Malik, Isaka Cernak, Rashid Mahazi, Gol Gol Mebrahtu, Kearyn Baccus, Bruce Djite, Tando Velaphi, Kwabena Appiah and Kofi Danning. Complementing that is the number of imports that have raised the standard such as Fahid Ben Khalfallah, Mickael Tavares, Jacques Faty and Youssouf Hersi.

The last 4 are foreign players ie they have come here just to play football not Australian citizens

My observation as a neutral, League is very much more multicultural than AFL, just a simple fact sorry.

No suprise given AFL is an Australian game with Australians playing, while RL is played in a number of countries overseas.

probably 85% Caucasians. Why is that surprising for an Australian game played by Australians?

I wonder whether the codes represent the broader community. To be honest I have never thought of AFL as just being for white people - maybe Europeans maybe??
I think it just reflects the community maybe - although if that were the case we would have more multicultural cricket team. Maybe it is a body suitability thing - body type - with Islander people much more suited to NRL and not suited to AFL?? Maybe reflects the communities where it is played. Who knows. ???
