I don't dislike AFL

I was actually brought up on AFL (still have some passion for the crows)

the Stupidity and Bubble like world of the AFL drives me crazy

the Fact that so many Victorians cant see the difference between NRL and Rugby Union

just proves how dumb some of you Victorians are.

I also disliked Andrew Demitrou and his chest beating..

I don't think NZ will ever embrace AF like RU or soccer but I know that RL isn't taken that seriously over there as well - EVERY Kiwi that comes to OZ says the same thing - "aren't you spewin bro your wallabies can't be the all blacks". When their told that no one is really that interested - they get all depressed. But the really funny thing is the amount down here in Melb that start following AFL and playing. Like anything they have to be introduced to something before they get an opinion about it. Now I'm not saying AFL will take over it won't but in time it will develop a niche and that's fine. We don't have to be international or everywhere because we're already number one here!

It all goes back to the Sydney - Melb rivalry thing - Sydney siders are so insecure just look at how they regard each other from East to West! They don't like not being the centre of things, they know they could never be at the centre of AF so instead they follow RL even thou it's not the most popular game in town (soccer is).
