How fucking brain dead dumb are some people .
Quoting journos who have NFI .
Yet as usual they take it as Gospel .
Xman shot his load before he got his pants off .
Lol just lol at the dumb fucks .
When the NRL actually have a presser & announce what the final result is then some can gloat ...some can argue .

So looks like the NRL will hit the 2billion mark once international rights and NZ rights and radio are sold
and news was pretty much on the money
Great Deal NRL. 16 team comp 3 state of origins. 15 from OZ 1 from NZ
=D> =D> =D>
After all that.. Pretty much = the great AFL deal.. give or take a few million $$$
no word of expansion by NRL

I don't know that its such great deal at all . We should be getting more than the AFL just in Australia alone. Last contract fox paid $650m, this contract there paying just $250 million more and that's to show all matches for the next 6 years it would seem!! The AFL got a 80% increase from Foxtel the NRL gets barely a 25% increase. The ratings clearly show that NRL is 20% more popular on PTV . With no advertising during matches the question needs to be asked who are the fuckwits running the NRL. A Gnat would have better negotiating skills. For god sake these people have given away nearly everything possible for a $50m a year increase. And then grant and Co make out its a great win for RL fans -

lol not nearly the same deal! for showing the AFL's H&A season that consists of several early afternoon games & a nab challenge a heap of practice games
compared to the NRLOLS H&A season with most games scheduled in prime time, all the internationals, RLWC, 4 nations
they get similar amounts of money

dumbarse pissycat
the rating show the AFL is ahead, even more when several of the games are simulcast on FTA as well
add in the fact the AFL has the number 1 subscription channel on fox shows the AFL is more popular!
even more funny with the NRLOL use to dominate fox thanks to the murdoch and packer pissing contest days!
fact the fact pissy caat the NRLOL was lucky fox even paid as much for it as they as they did thanks to optus & others entering the market adding pressure

Dumbarse Dumbarse
Dumbarse. Other than you, who forks out for PTV, then forks out more for the the sports pack. Then whatches the match on FTA with 20 + minutes of adds and in standard definition.

you shouldnt get more, you get far less than the AFL in Australia alone, and rightly so. You have a handful of prime time games that rate well. Plus by combining 2 games on FN, one with the broncos, you think you win everything.
We all know, again, which code is number 1 on TV in Australia.

With all 8 games on Fox(exclusive /simulcast) next year the gap will be so huge that the game will sell itself , no longer will we be forced to rely on those morons at head office!

Wish they'd put it all on the table at once like other codes do instead of drip feeding us. Ffs, how hard is it to actually negotiate the whole thing at once eh, other sports seem to be able to do it and if I remember last time, the NZ rights were brought forward so they would align with this current deal.
Wtf?
We are talking another $100-200 million there alone seeing as the last NZ rights were 110 million without the other international rights which got around 20 million a year as well supposedly. Then we still have International Tournaments still to sell, although I'm not sure how the money is split these days seeing as we now have a proper International fed with a CEO putting plans in place now for the RLWC in 2017 plus other tournies yet to be sold.
Then we have the radio rights, they are worth a few million a year at least.
Come on News and NRL, stop pulling the wool over our eyes and just announce what the code is getting.
Fuck your PR war, both the big codes got massive deals, so why continue this stupid farce?
Announce the whole deal at once or don't mention it at all in the first place and do it behind closed doors without the spruiking..
