Lets not forget that total AFL ratings on Fox dwarf the NRL - we're talking a 42 million to 27 million so far for this season alone - and thats before we get to the extra content - NRL 360 is MASSIVELY outrated by AFL 360 for a start. matty Jons rates because its paired with Monday night NRL. Sterlo: on the couch is a poor cousin to the AFLs On the Couch...I could go on.

So that explains away your total ratings argument and quite frankly i would be surprised if the NRL had more total ratings on Fox with nearly half the content.

NRL has the largest Footy show on Fox with Monday night with Matty Johns

So either way you look at it your easily number 2 on Pay TV.

Fairfax Media has learned that Nine's five-year free-to-air and digital contract to screen key NRL games, which stunned rivals when it was unveiled last Monday, is structured to allow the free-to-air broadcaster to on-sell games to rivals if it chooses.

And how do you Know there will be less matches? I hope you show just as much enthusiasm towards our numbers when, in the much more likely scenario of all 8 matches being shown on Fox. With PTV matches on in the Thursday, Friday and Saturday night timeslots your PTV wont even be in our post code.
