well no, Ive alreeady said the NRL is closer. But who gives a shit? Youre crowds are down almost 10% on last years low crowd figure, so how has it helped exactly?AFLcrap1 wrote:Pete_09 wrote:Name a league on earth in any sport where a bottom placed team has beaten a top placed team? Rd 8 NRL this yr

LAST-placed Manly have upset ladder-leading Melbourne in their Anzac Day clash at AAMI Park with a hard-fought 12-10 victory.
Now for an education for the fumble disadvantaged.
We have been arguing on here about which Comp is closer .
It's no contest .
The NRL is a far closer comp ( just look at the odds for winner ,top 8. To miss top 8 .)
Yet the Derpy fans maintain the Aflol is as close or closer ..
I asked for one of you backward hicks to show an example of the last placed ladder team ( after at least about 1/4 of the season ) beating the no 1 side .
It doesn't happen in Aflol .
The basketcase teams just don't beat the ladder leaders ..
You mob have to console yourselves with a circle jerk over a bottom 8 team beating another bottom 8 team .
That's to be expected when your comp has two distinct leagues .
The haves .
&
The basket cases .
We don't gave that problem in the NRL .

look at the constant average, better than nearly all NRLOL teams despite the lions being shit for a decadeParraEelsNRL wrote:All those different coloured seats at the gabba do a great job of hiding the fact that the ground over the last 3-4 years is never half full bar 1 or 2 games, yet their average is always above half capacity, hmmmmmmm strange huh?
Like back in the bad news bears days when a crowd of 3k was always given out as 8k, the swans used to do the same and we are seeing it now with gws and the thuns.
