The best attendances ever seen at Allianz since it was commissioned in 1988 were achieved in 2013: Average crowd, 17,704. That's only 39% of its capacity!

People will only be attracted to a new stadium while the new stadium is a novelty. Once the novelty wears off, attendances will wither, AS USUAL.

I walked past spotless stadium yesterday and they were handing out free tickets and pie vouches to everyone, people were STILL hesitant and wanted a beer voucher also.

These 13,556 people were seat fillers, employee's of the AFL, to make the game look good. Pretty good job.

Im sure by 2020 GWS will improve and hand out only free tickets but no food/drink vouches. Getting there.

The Wanderers are at the bottom of the table in the A League with little money compared to GWS and they are a newer club.
Yet they are leaving the Giants in the dust with merchandise sales, crowds and sponsorship.
