if you miss the scoring zone in the AFL you get nothing. Thought you'd know that
its also equal for both sides. The team with the most scoring opportunities, and the most accuracy will win

Yet some how scores end up in the 100s. Shows how easy it is to score in AFL does'nt it.

the ... scoring zone... would be the goal wouldn't it wanker ?
no one aims for the feeble scoring zone dickhead
they miss n get it
no sport on earth rewards close enough
either you score where you are supposed to or you don't
the fumbles n feebles is a joke & an embarrassment .. this is further proof

Too right raider it would have to be the most feeble scoring system of any football code.

yes, yes fine points there re the simple scoring system in the AFL folks. its dead true and we mustn't deny the facts please nlol, no you don't, not in my thread.
I think its important we reflect on raiders point, no sport on earth rewards close enough. And when I think of it, none does really....except for the coach of the junior division 5 teams around the nation. That coach'll often say " oh go on then, give em a free hit, give em a free goal...for trying"

essentially the AFL does the same

bullshit
In cricket you can score a run from missing the ball entirely. In RL you get 5 mulligans to run past the opposition defense and score

I'm sorry, that's a really awful attempt there nlol. A no ball or wide is not a bonus point because the batter tried and missed you silly goose. It's a punishment on the bowler for breaking the rules.
Dear oh dear oh me...oh my. How could you say such a shithouse invalid thing on wordlcup final day?

if a batsman attempts to hit the ball, misses completely, and the ball hits his body their team can score runs, even a boundary. Dont you follow cricket??
Furthermore, a batsman can go for a 6, completely miss hit the shot, and still score runs.

you stoopid gosling!

Can you explain how a batsmen who is hit in the ribs and takes a leg bye at the risk of being run out is the same as an AFL forward shooting unmarked from right in front, duffs it, but gets a point anyway?

Please nlol, all this on worldcupfinal day is quite awful. You butchering yourself and the great game of cricket. Stop it at once!

And to think back to the BBL folks. Isnt it amazing there is still such a mammoth chasm in the scores between the BBL teams and the AFL teams when they can get emselves bonus points here and there
