love these sapstic bumblers.

hurr durr look at the odds, lol. And NZ won, which i made a nice $30 off.

anyway, let's all chill out for our 2.5 month off season and I think Feb 1 NRL 9s stars, then World Club Challenge, THEN the actual season begins. Oh and then the ANZAC test, some more internationals after the season.

Just because your efforts at internationalism attract as much interest as camel racing in the middle of the Pacific ocean ,that doesn't mean you should let it eat away at you.

Just accept RL has an international profile(not huge ,but 100 yrs of playing test footy).
Life will be better when you let the jealousy go.

now off you go & look after that mine.
I would think you are like Swines ,a very important person..LOL.
show every one that link where i said i was a mine manager spazza!

100 plus years of league coming from the mother land of England. living off the back of union & its still a minnow game in the countries its played in. just like the odds and the history of the world cup, & the the four nations
thats even after the NRL supplying many of the players for the other countries :)))

the AFL is a product out of Australia and there is nothing else like it in the world, & has never claimed to be international.

so keep beating your chest and pumping up the tyres of your minnow sport!
do we need to go into the history and the story of a couple of billionaires buying the game and promoting the hell out of it & still cant beat the AFl :(/
The inferiority complex you AFL pussies have is just hilarious :_<>

You all know AFL is going nowhere internationally, while rugby league just had it's most successful four nations tournament ever

Too bad AFL, your international cup failed dismally with no media interest. Well done AFL =D>

Your silly fumble ball has nothing to offer during the off season lol, while Rugby League still has the super club challenge on it's way. :\:
four nations tournament where as usual Aus & NZ played off in the F, just like the RL world cup, & nearly every other World Cup & Four Nations!
why is it nearly every other country RL is played in Union has the professional comp & League is just a bunch of amateur comps

a reall success, yet how were the crowds :-k :thumbleft:
Glad you asked about the crowds. Rugby League four nations total ticket sales were the highest in history of the cup and broke records. :D
still couldn't sell out a stadium :)))
Still progress, more than I can say for AFLs zero international profile. :_<>
just like Leagues international profile! still trying to break away from Unions :)))

Union and League are two totally different entities these days you moron.
As for Rugby Leagues the international profile, it is massively ahead of AFLs in every single overseas nation :D :D

I know for a fact Rugby Leagues State of Origin will gain more interest here than your Asian cup. Nobody cares about a bunch of second rate football nations playing each other lol..
No England, No Brazil, No Germany, No Spain, No Netherlands, No France, No Italy, No Argentina.

The USA which is not even a football nation is ranked higher than pretty much every team competing. Which tells you how poor the standard is.

Actually it tells you more about the FIFA ranking system

Yes it tells you that fifa ranks Asia rightly as poor footballing nations.
And this is correct, tell me an Asian nation that does well in world cups as in close to finals???

Your talking up a comp with no quality teams just admit it.

North Korea have made the quarters, South Korea the semis, Austealia and Japan and Saudi round of 16.

So yea they have made it, sorry to disappoint

I suppose Africa is a meaingless Football Confederation then as well, as only two teams have the Quarters.

How about North and Central America, only Mexico have reached Quarters

So basically you think only South America and Europe are worth watching or playing. Pretty narrow world view, excuse me if I don't subscribe

Haha ok some have made the semis once in a blue moon and but are all ranked outside the 50 like Wooks said.

Africa has Cameroons, Senegal, Zambia and Nigeria that are all better than the top Asian Cup sides. So even an African football tournement would be much more respected than your 4th division world cup teams lol.

If I recall, doesn't the top ranked Asian country get automatic entry into the World Cup and the top team in Oceania have to earn it in a playoff?

But using your measure which I did, showed that wasn't true. Now that I have shown that up you ignore your own measures and just declare a few African nations worthy. Talking about moving the goal posts lol.

Foolproof

4 qualification spots, not automatic

Post hoc you know well Asia is one of the lowest standard areas for football in the world. EUROPE, NTH AMERICA, STH AMERICA and AFRICA are all better.
