how is watching a 1 off match on tv the same as being a paying fan of a club?

how many of that 900k actively invest in the storm? i can answer that for you....exactly 1.6% of them

SOO is a novelty event that doesn't come around very often. i'm sure even the most hardened AFL fan tunes into watch just a little of it. but if you ask them to pay money for a membership or a ticket to a melbourne storm game then they'd probably tell you to go for a walk

if the giants are angry at the wanderer's progress then every single rugby league club in the west must be shivering in their boots. the only club in west sydney that benefits from the wanderers success is the eels because they share a stadium

and thats also a good point on the victory, they put the storm to shame , and now with a rebooted second a-league club in melbourne, it's safe to say that the a-league is beasting the nrl down there

Melbourne Storm are well established and doing well, it makes you so angry knowing that truth and being in denial about it does'nt it :<>

Yet lets have a look at GWS, AFL is spending more money on them than NRL spends on all their Western Sydney clubs put together. Yet they still suck and seen as a dorky losers club

They have also had a huge advantage over Western Sydney wanderers with funding and arriving first too.

its funny GWS have been around for 3 years and won a few wooden spoons yet their crowds and membership are just below the NRL clubs located in western Sydney. who have been in existence ot 60, 70 plus years to build their fan base in their own heart land
