Participation rates, rl wins :D
according to research done out of NRL house, but every other research that is done is complety different,

the mammoth tv audience?
the one that still looses to the AFL?
from ratings data taken from 3000 boxes from metro areas across Australia & the 2000 boxes from regional Australia
owned by the 3 commercial networks

basically 1 fat bloke in his 40s living in his parents basement watching a game of league counts for several hundred thousand Australians

keep trying to convince your self that league is any where near the AFL or even soccer in the popularity. if it wasn't for packer, it would still be on the abc being played run down shit box suburban grounds that are funded tax payers. the only difference is because k packer was a fan he placed it on commercial, the rest is still the same :)))

Funny how TV stations stumped up a Billion + for the Rights..

You would think according to whatever weird theory you are trying to put across that if the stations own the boxes then they could rig the data to say that RL does NOT rate well.
Sorry we are not giving you anymore than 500 Million..

Jesus you are thick..

If they stump up the $$$$ then it must rate.

& your maths is on a par with Swines..

If One ratings box = hundreds of thousands(lets say 200,000) ,then 5000 ratings boxes = 1,000,000,000.

Wow according to you The population of this country is about 1 Billion..

Jesus you are thick...

Why .we will have 4 out of the top 5 in sports ratings this yr.....yet again.
We have had a PNG team join the Q cup this yr.
We have bids from numerous places trying to get a team in the NRL.

But in your warped reality things are bad,

Hows your International/world/universe cup going?.

Any interest.

Hows many international teams want to join your comp..

Crack open another windex...have a big swig & get back to me.

yeah 3 SOO games which sell out state vs state

then you have the GF which struggles to sell out, then the rest for the NRL falls away rather quickly

keep kidding your self about the NRL the real international game. union is an international game league is not.
league originated out of England. Australia still supplys over half of the players for the RL world cup & that's not even including the Australian team
of RL world cups Australia has won 10, great britten 3 and NZ 1.
Australia has won 7 or the last 8 with NZ the other one
its the NRL's best Australian players. against a heap of amateur countries, topped up with NRL players

the AFL never claims to be an international game

so spazza who is warped in the head

YOU dumbo.
There are heaps & heaps of the puff piece stories about how AFL is taking off all over.

Plenty have been posted here .

Your boss claimed 30K registered players in NZ,to show how popular it is over there .
A pity the real number is 1500.

It eats you mob up how big SOO is ..you are still talking about it.

It eats you mob up that we have an international game ,you have a comp where if you have 2 legs & are breathing you can get a gig for Indonesia or Fiji,in some Mickey Mouse tournament watched by 4 men & a dog.

Our sport is multi levelled...it is international at state level comp..3 countries are playing at that level, just in the Qld & NSW cup comp,& Fiji wants to join..

It kills you that your sport has none of this.
The jealousy is there for all to see.

The multitude of threads over RLWC.
The insane ramblings over SOO..

Wasn't it also PTV that coughed up the money - a media that measures every viewer as opposed to FTA that measures less than .0006% of the population - yep that sounds more accurate - or the fact they can't tell us WHERE these sets are placed or WHO they are placed with!!!!!! Yet by all means as I have said many times you and the RL keep ignoring other stats - like the AFL now having a new record membership base of 800,000, RL not even half that, or the fact the AFL generates an extra 125 mil than the NRL, or the fact AFL has more than twice the crowd or the fact it has more than double participation levels, and sponsorship, or merchandising - yep keep believing that it's only FTA TV you need - keep ignoring the rest!!! Hahaha

Your pathetic continued ignoring of RL participation levels is laughable.
