Sure gws have a few more wins but teams can get lucky and the title of this thread remains a valid question to be asked. IMO they really fluked it against the swans who were asleep in round 1. Then you got stkilda, melbs and brissie all showing us how shit a club can be in this day and age, which makes it easy for gws to look ok. If they manage to finish last in this years comp/bbl they're as shit as ever, even with, no particularly with a massive influx of new players!!!
Look KE you obviously have a large axe to grind with GWS - did one of their players pot ur missus???? They only come into being 3 yrs ago, it's not like RL where a cheque book is taken out and toucan get anyone you want - there is a draft and we have a salary cap (because in RL that's only there for appearances - i.e. Bulldogs, Manly, Souths, Broncos, Titans, Bulldogs again). GWS have improved even if you don't like that fact FFS your like a 4 yr old 'oh they didn't improve even thou they won more games because there's more basket case teams now and I don't like them so nah!'
It really bellies the sometimes good points you make - so how about we talk about the Snot Greens instead - yeh know that's a club going down into a black hole - lowest membership, record low crowds (now worse than GWS) and the lowest interest nationally on TV - then there's all those favourite son's like Carney, Ferguson and Monaghan - like even you have to admit KE this is a club that's on the brink of destruction and it's been around for 20+ years and has won premierships - FFS it's dragging down the whole NRL - they should be pissed off!!

I've had it with this bull when you say "oh but they've only been around for 3 years) crap excuse. It really should only take half a year 1 year tops for a player to mature and get used to the nature of first grade. Take a look at WSW, they've been around for the same time and have made the grand final more then once, and they are a younger team then the giants when it comes to establishment. They're either can't play Aussie rules or it will take them 10 years competing to finally get off the bottom :') they have one successful AFL team in Sydney, adding another was a mistake
You obviously know nothing about professional team sport slackyboy - no matter what the sport there is a large amount of luck - even more so in AFL - in A league you can go out and get established players OS (both Australians and marque players) because the A league is about the 100th soccer league in terms of money and pretiege in world soccer terms (and that's not a criticism just an objective fact) the amount of players to choose from is enormous - same player would not be A grade in Germany or EPL but here in the A League they are better than the local product. Next there is only 11 players on the field for a soccer team - therefore a roster of 20 good players is a lot easier than 42. Lastly there is not debate Western Sydney has a large soccer following population having packed stadiums and the atmosphere it generates is productive towards players playing better the ol 12th man helps a lot. GWS had a roster of 42 players only 7 of which had played at AFL standard - that means 35 were untried kids playing in a new environment and at times a hostile attitude from those like you - but they have improved and it is well recognised in AFL because you don't run in lines opposed to each other (soccer to a lesser degree than the rugbys) it takes at least 50 games to fully understand the pattern of play not for just yourself but also your opponent. So although you didn't mean too your statement was a bit ignorant.

I don't mean to be hostile, it just annoys me when they say GWS are improving when they have shown little, but nothing to brag about improvement. I remember earlier on this season after they beat Sydney they would be a contender for the playoffs, those talks disappeared. If what you say is right, I ecpect them to be mid table next year.
I think people are too quick to Judge IMO - Penrith took years to win a premiership as did Paramatta, Cronulla have yet to win one as too the Nth Qld Cowboys, St.Kilda, Western bulldogs, Freo - judging them in today's instant results is unfair - just because WSW are successful doesn't mean other clubs aren't on the right track or are taking longer - Perth HAL, Newcastle HAL, WSW HAL, Melb Heart/City, Wellington HAL all teams that haven't won a title but your not bagging them - just admit it you don't like AFL so GWS is a concurrent whipping boy for your dislike!!!!
I acutally don't mind; I played it from time to time, don't mind it in the background if nothing else is on telly, but when people dog my main code that's when I get devensive.
Jackyboy if you talk seriously I will - if you go down the RD, KE or Crapper path than I will respond in kind. Like I have said many times what I say or think should not affect your love of RL AND just because you love a code of football doesn't mean you can't appreciate or enjoy another code. For me AFL is superior in all aspects for you it is RL. On a serious note will Perth be a franchise soon??
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expansio ... gby_League the ones that seem most likely are Perth and another NZ team but in 2016 or 2017 according to the nrl

Ok so u suggest north by 30. I suggest north by 60. A fair bet will then be if north win by 46 or more I get ur avatar for a week. If north win by 44 or less, you get mine.

If gws win I'll give you my avatar also ;)

If north win by 45 I think we call it a tie, unless you can suggest a better option.

How goes it swinesy boy? You gunna put ur identity where ur mouth is?

You said gws would only lose by five goals, by your logic we should be betting on gws losing by more than 30 then I win.

Comprehende? Now man up soldier bitch
