It'll probably sell out. Its a marquee event, similar to Liverpool playing Melbourne Victory or a Rolling Stones concert and such. People will go to the game because its an event, not because of some renaissance in rugby league in Victoria, any more than the Liverpool game boosted crowds for the Aleague. This is what some of the AFL folks are trying to get across here - Origin is not reflective of a greater interest in Rugby league, its reflective of peoples interest in the event itself.
and what we leaguies are trying to get across here is
our game has these marquee event/s that can attract a sellout A list venues almost anywhere its played

while that bumbling little abortion from south of the murray
does not

I know I'd rather have them
then not
Yet that bastard off spring of rugby you call league ONLY has that!!!! AF doesn't need it as we sell out home and away games of our comp we don't have to invent a gimmick to get fans on board!

ONLY..
Bhaaaaaaaaa.
your jealousy makes you write more crap than normal.

What about RLWC last yr .
The success & crowds had you mob babbling & shitting in the corner .
The 9s had you doing the same(& both events in other countries).
Now its SOO & the same happens..
BUt according to your Derp logic we have nothing outside SOO.

Go look at what the Hunters mean to PNG & how big they are.
1st yr in the QLD cup & they are massive..

But nah theres nothing outside SOO..

I think you should go back to putting your hand down the back of your old army fatigues & finger paint in the corner while chanting ..
AFL good ,RL bad

The success of our game has broken your little mind..

He's talking to me, Swans, and he deleted what I said in an over reaction to something that was not personal information. (And I'll bet this is deleted as well!)

It's going to be hilarious to see a half filled G for SOO. Leaguies wanna hope there is more interest than last time at the G when just 25k bothered turning up. :-$
if they keep selling the tickets at this price like they have been, where games in QLD and NSW where the SOO have been struggling to sell out, its going to be very true in Victoria, 25k turn up to the MCG, which will be expats or the bumsniffer fans traveling down from tarrrd central NSW, to have a look at what a real stadium looks like :(/
