Actually 15 not 16k my mistake

A crowd of 22,546 watched last year's game in Wellington and about 15,000 tickets have been sold for Friday's game

The crowd will be what it will be, no use posting bs and crap links until the farking game has been played, the AFL themselves said they don't release certain things to the public, so stop worrying

Crowd seem small .. At best 15000 but always hard to tell on TV. Watched the last quarter on fox and my son says "it's like the nrl there's no body there " lol

13,409 for the Vfl game in NZ.

Meanwhile, tell your son he could've watched any NRL game today and seen more or less capacities at each game.

Surprised it was only 13 thousand

We watched the collingwood Essendon game ... What a game. Also over 90 000. He's also used to big crowds week in week out as a collingwood supporter

They promoted the storm game on AFL 360 ... It's great if you can go the mcg then cross the bridge and watch the storm.

Not a bad crowd for nz match ... Given this is more then many nrl games in nrl heartland. Perth looks pretty full

You seriously want to compare AFL crowds to nrl crowds ?? Crowds of 15000 are the norm for nrl. Shoot it is near their average crowd for last year .... Seriously, I would pick another topic other than crowds if you want to compare nrl to AFL!!!

The giant SYD Battle of the Boggers has crowds that are sliding backwards at an alarming rate..38k down to 21 k down to 17 K...next yr..???

NZ lost nearly 10 K off the crowd in One yr.....
But in the insular bubble ,everything is rosy...

& there are plenty of braindeads who are saying NZ should have a Derpyball team...

Face it ..This game at any level above kick & giggle is GIRT BY SEA.

NZ experiment was always going to struggle. Not sure where these people are who thought it would be a success

The giants v swans crowds depends on whose home game it is. These crowds won't stabilise for 5 years or so once the giants team is competitive
