SACKED Gold Coast Suns footballer Campbell Brown is in trouble again, arrested while celebrating his big win at yesterday's Magic Millions races.

Brown, sacked in disgrace in August after shattering the jaw of teammate Steven May after a pre-season training camp in the US, was in a brighter mood yesterday when Sweet Idea, the horse he co-owns with real estate kings the Henderson brothers, won the prestigious Magic Millions Guineas for three-year-olds.

However, the night took a turn for the worse, with the former Suns hard man arrested after a scuffle with police at a Broadbeach nightclub.

Police say officers were walking through the nightclub when Brown and another man refused a police directive to move out of the way.

The men allegedly made contact with the officers.

They were taken to Surfers Paradise Police Station and charged with assault/obstruct police.

Both men were released from the Southport watchhouse early today and will face court in February.

Brown, who retired from AFL following the LA disgrace, is an avid horse racing fan, enjoying previous success with Sweet Idea as a two-year-old at last year's Magic Millions.

It is believed Brown will relocate to Melbourne.

I reckon a thread covering 2014 would be good crapper? The brown thing with police was seen as very minor but nonetheless an incident probably a 1 out of 10 though which sets a benchmark I guess. The eagles one was last year so not included but to give a benchmark probably a 6. The nrl player who head butted his wife then kicked her in the head whilst down ... Maybe an 8 to 8.5.

I would do it ,but it would be a waste of time .
Anything that shows AFL in a bad light will be locked after the whinging & bitching by A.DAMliar.

The whole point of listing the AFL player assaults was to show what a dumb dumb braindead fuck A.DAMliar is.
Pointing the finger at RL when his code is just as bad.
The difference is .
We know that there are bad eggs in RL.
Fumblefans think that AFL players are all well behaved..

If I an have an assurance that the thread wont be locked
I will do it..
& it will be only for things that happen 1/1/14 to 31/12/14.
So if a players court case comes up this yr for something that happened last yr ..it is not relevant.
& only AFL or NRL players or former players,not other comps.

Yeah, why rabbit? I wasn't bagging any sport but agreeing with AFL crapper that it would be good to monitor the incidents for 2014 for both codes, but obviously there would be minor and major incidents ?

Are you going to do that thread aflcrapper comparing both codes misdeeds for 2014. I just thought you said you would be happy to do so and I think it would be interesting if you do. I don't have the time so was grateful for you saying you would happily compare.

I think he was referring to your "RATINGS".

If you do that then 1 code could have far more incidents ,but then say the other side incidents were far more serious..

I thought the ratings were a good idea as someone getting pissed and urinating in street is hardly the same as bashing someone for instance.

Bashing women should get a higher/worse rating.

it won't be locked so stop whining. The vast majority of locked threads are threads dedicated to personal attacks which have nothing to do with code wars.

Also, stop painting all fans with the one brush. Of course there are poorly behaved AFL players
