RL was the FIRST .. sport in this nation to have a draft in 1990 you ********* twat
but a player challenged it in court .... I think it was Terry Hill
& the High Court of NSW ruled it an Illegal restraint of trade .... RL has never gone back to it because

well
its players have balls & know they won't be traded like pieces of meat

unlike the gutless little sheilas who fumble bumble & miss who could have the VFL draft thrown out in 5 secs

Nsw has a high court?

Anyway, comparatively the penalties seemed the same to me. Essendon is a much larger club and has lots of money coming through the gates. They could manage to pay the fine. I think asada will hit cronull a harder and the nrl harder. Nrl don't want to cripple cronulla so a reasonable penalty. You wouldn't fine a small company the same as say bhp for instance.

Why will Asada Hit Cronulla harder?

From what I hear and read .. My perception is that cronulla players may have been involved with the more serious peds. One player has already been caught I think. Again, just a perception as I said but will see if I've read the lie of land correctly. In short, I believe essendon were pushing the envelope with supplements whereas I believe nrl players investigated, some may have out right cheated with known banned substances.

it really makes a mockery of the fines and sanctions Essendon was handed.
Especially as Cronulla's penalties were for the drug use, and Essendon's were not. Essendon's punishments were for bringing the game into disrepute.

That means that if ASADA think that the NRL penalties weren't enough they can appeal them. They can't do that with the AFL sanctions, but the reality is that they can still add to Essendon's problems as they can still issue their own penalties. Jobe Watson admitted as much to the media yesterday. ASADA can do the same to Cronulla. And anyone else they see fit, such as Dank who I think is going to cop the brunt of ASADA's wrath.

Fucking clueless.
Essingbongs penalties were for Governence issues.
ie..Running a supplement/drug programm that was not monitered or records kept.

& for a lot lot longer than Cronulla did.
Fkn ****** ,you don't have a clue.

I think essendon were charged for bringing the game into disrepute for the reasons outlined by crapper. So far there is no suggestion that they were deliberately taking banned drugs... Although some confusion exists about 1 of those drugs. I think with cronulla there is suggestion that they deliberately cheated by banned substances however that's yet to be proven. I guess it's about the different intent.

Then we have NRL players trafficking in banned shit - don't try and say your code is clean in comparison when they as bad as one another - your a fucking hypocritical flog!

I do not think there has been talk of deliberate taking if banned drugs at essendon ? Whereas the nrl have talk if steroids and other obvious banned drugs whereas essendon it is around one drug in particular that there remains some doubt as to whether it was banned. That's my take on it anyway.

Tell me seriously What fucking Planet do you live on?

Where you fucking braindead ****** did I say the NRL is CLEAN In CoMPARISON?,only in your head..
FUCK Off & don't reply to me ,you are too stupid for words... My IQ drops 20 points reading your shit.

YOu ********* cant comprehend anything ,so you make shit up & then try to argue against the imaginary post .
The simple fact is
How long was Dank at Cronulla?.
How long was he at Essingbong?

Cronulla got rid of him when they found out what he was doing.
Any player who kept seeing him after that gets what he deserves.

Now how long was he at Essingbong?..He was given free reign at Essingbong for a lot lot longer than he was at the Sharks. & it looks like hird & Dank made sure they got around Doc Reid to do what they wanted.
Do a bit of research before you post your utter drivel.
You are close to NRL crapper stupid..

You want to argue..... argue with what I post .... ,but first get someone to explain what it means ,because you are a fucking simpleton who cant understand plain English.

I only just noticed that - I think he means the Supreme Court of NSW - but he most probably doesn't really understand the difference - most probable calls every court the High Court!
