GRAND Final ticket sales will top $50 million

ahhhhhhhhh

tell me

how the fuck could the VFL Grand Final generate 50 Million in ticket sales last year
when the most expensive ticket is $390 dollars
http://www.theage.com.au/AFL/AFL-news/a ... 20u75.html
&
there are 100,000 people there

If everyone at the ground including 3 year old children were charged $390 for their seat ( barely 10% would be charged this much & the rest a whole lot less)
the most the gate would be

would be 39 Million

:-k

  :_<> :_<> :(/ :(/ :(/

it seems the utter BS .. the complete .. lies .... the rampant crap .. the wankfest ...written about the VFL
knows ... no bounds :>::
This is the third time you haven't read that article. Does your carer not work on weekends? Can you have a friend or relative read it aloud instead?

STOP POSTING ABSURD REPLIES WITHOUT READING THE ARTICLES PEOPLE PROVVIDE AS SOURCES, YOU ******.

The AFL doesn't sell many GA tickets to the GF (a fact bemoaned by many AFL fans). Most of the allocations are for corporate seats that cost several thousand dollars.
When bundled into function and travel packages, about 20,000 seats will rake in at least $30 million.

Corporate boxes for 16 people are being sold for as much as $56,000.
Here's a list of the single seat packages offered for this year's GF: http://www.afleventoffice.com.au/grand_ ... ckages.asp

Read the article I posted, and then come back and apologise for being a ******.

travel packages

well here
our most expensive .. packages go for $2350.00 per person
but don't include travel

http://www.therugbyleagueexperience.com ... inal-2013/

F me
what next
the cost of a call girl on yr room tab included in that 50 Mill

ticket sales
means the price of tickets times the number sold

not some toffed up wankfest on offer
seriously
including the cost of the air fare shows what tools I'm dealing with here :(/ :(/ :(/
You posted a link to a third party selling ticket packages. I posted a link to the AFL website, with all profits from sales going to the AFL. You just keep making arbitrary rules to suit your argument. You're like the special needs kid in the schoolyard that keeps yelling "that doesn't count" when people tag him in chasey...

The $50m is purely from ticket sales, and that's just to the Grand Final. You simp.

1) congratulations on submitting a post without a reference to penises.
2) So you admit that our biggest match is bigger than your biggest match then?
3) Now that we've established that the AFL's biggest match is bigger than the nRL's biggest match, let's look at the 4 biggest matches:

AFL Grand Final
AFL biggest Final #1
AFL Biggest Final #2
AFL Biggest Final #3

vs

SOO 1
SOO 2
SOO 3
nRL GF.

I think we'd win that. In terms of attendance it's a bit of a gamble for the AFL dependant on which teams are playing (in 2012 despite finals involving Sydney, Adelaide and West Coast, it was nRL 273k v AFL 318k), but in terms of revenue it's an absolute no-brainer. AFL Grand Final Alone generates $50 million, which is more than the entire State of Origin SERIES (that's including things like NSW and QLD jumper sponsorship btw).

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/state- ... 6372979674
The State of Origin series generates more than $30 million in revenue

GRAND Final ticket sales will top $50 million
Check

Image
Ummm no you racist ******. The AFL sell also sell thousands of packages which cost over $1.5k each as well. Try again fuckwit.

Im sorry turd molestor
it still wouldn't get anywhere near 50 Million you halfwitted fuckhead :(/ :(/ :(/

the sale of a ticket does not include a smoked salmon sandwich & a glass of bubbly & a pre game address by some former fumbler in tight shorts with his jatz crackers sticking out of them

they are corporate PACKAGES ... not tickets
the package comes with a ticket
& we're not talking about that

& the 30 Million for origin .... is Ticket sales & nothing else
not one fauz gras .. or a Bollinger .. included

the VFL GF would be lucky to have 20 Million in actual ticket sales
I'll stand corrected if you can provide a source, but when I was researching SOO revenue, the figure of $30 million was what the series generated in total, not just through ticket sales. This included the $2m that each team earned in jumper sponsorship, the VB sponsorship of the series, everything. Again, i'll happily stand corrected if you can provide a source that says otherwise.
215,000 tickets at an average of $150 a pop is what ?
That's not how averages work......

.
of course its not
because it doesn't suit your argument :(/ :(/ :(/

but of course

airfares
5 star hotels
& their bar fridge

& sausages from Coles ..... does :-k

BS it is

a ticket to the GF is just that
not some cock wubbing corporate function that comes with it as part of a package including air fares & accomodation

if someone has bought one of these ... they paid for the best seat there is in the venue in their package

all the rest is fluff & fart

like I said
none of this is included in the SOO 's 30 Million

that's pure ticket sales to the 3 games

The discussion was your 4 biggest matches vs our 4 biggest matches. Don't try to change the terms of the debate into your three biggest matches vs our one biggest match just because you lost. Pathetic.

Moving the goal posts......

You idiots are suggesting that the AFL grand final makes 50m in ticket sales alone thus saying that your 99k people to a grand final makes 20m more then the 216k people to the SOO series which apparently makes 30m in 2012............ :-k :-k :-k :-k

SOO SERIES 210k+ people in 2012 makes 30m in ticket sales, now your saying that a 99k AFL GF makes 50m on ticket sales alone.......................FMD you guys are clueless.

So your AFL grand final tickets would have to be 4 times more expensive then the SOO tickets not including accommodation and things like that...... ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

This should help settle it.

GRAND Final ticket sales will top $50 million.

A Herald Sun investigation has revealed for the first time the full extent of revenue raised from the sale of tickets for Saturday's premiership decider.

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/AFL/a ... 6479849644#

When bundled into function and travel packages, about 20,000 seats will rake in at least $30 million.

Corporate boxes for 16 people are being sold for as much as $56,000.
Super seats will be on the second level, with dining packages for tables of 10 already being advertised by the league for $26,500.

Read the rest of the thread eels before posting your ignorant dribble. Why is eels so easy to shut down?

never mind this has been posted yet they are still arguing. Zealots will never learn.

Yeah I read it, as you can see by my comments at the end........ Oh never mind you didn't read, oh the hypocrisy. 50 million for the AFL GF compared to similar packages at the NRL grand final and SOO totaling 30 million the jealousy is just massive. Oh you think they don't have similar corporate deals for the NRL? Laughable. The AFL GF is the biggest event in OZ sport by a long way.

Wow how dumb. Some one gave eels a full frontal. He is starting to sound more and more like Dave. Can you read? You also seam a bit obsessed with the PM its like you care about politics.

20,000 seats make $30 million dollars. If you don't want to call them ticket sales that's fine but the NRL has the same deal, they just cant make as much money. Are you suggesting that the NRL doesn't have special packages? :_<>

I find your argument quite amusing, its like you are in denial.

Nope if you check the tickets sales for SOO, there is no tickets you can buy that include Travel and flights you gimp.

Link me tickets for SOO were tickets include flights and accommodations you tool?

We are talking just tickets sales, there is no way in hell your AFL GF makes 50m in tickets sales for the AFL. More then Half the profits for these packages are going to the Airline companies and the Hotels, now that is a fact.

Have you not heard, SOO rakes in 10m in revenue for the states NSW and QLD per game do we count that also?

Yeah thought not, keep the desperate defense of your silly code going Pies me and Dave are enjoying making you look like a fool...... :_<> :_<> :_<>

Im just going to ignore Eels's dribble and just laugh. This thread is so funny. Its like a dick measuring contest where the guy who lost badly just realised he has a small one and is trying to change the rules. I loved the way Dave made up the price of the SOO tickets to average $150 when 65% of the tickets cost either $55 dollars or $95 dollars for the adult price tickets, just so he could "prove" that the SOO ticket sales add up to the magic 30 million mark. In the real world the tickets average price is below $100 due to them mostly being bronze and silver tickets often sold as family, concession or junior prices. Not to mention that large sections of the stadiums are prebooked by stadium members probably as part of a membership package where you get one or two SOO games and the GF thrown it as well, for a monthly or one off yearly payment. If they are packages then you cant include them according to the RL supporters. What dribble.

All we can say is AFL GF sells tickets and packages that generate revenue of 50 million. How much the SOO games make as a total I have no idea, im just happy to laugh away as the regulars continue to splutter.

Edit: just checked ANZ stadium members get into SOO and GF with no extra cost payed as part of their package, whats that 10,000 fewer tickets for sale? I assume lang park has members to.
