Just announced on AFL360 that ASADA told Essendon AOD9604 wasnt banned.

Under s2 whatever that means ...

My question would be. Is it approved? If not it might as well be banned.

If a player or club approaches ASADA for advice about a substance its ASADAs job to clarify, since they AR the experts. They said not prohibited and mentioned nothing about s0

Doesn't matter which way this overtly conducted and thus likely corrupted case goes, the title of this thread, as most everything young rabbit says, remains appropriate, accurate and valid.

Gerard Wheatley beloved that because of the information given by asada to both Essendon and a ACC that they will escape an infringement notice. I think the AFL will put their own sanctions on the club however. Time will tell.

Agree, they'll cop sanctions but no player bans

ASADA's statement to Fox Footy stated: ''ASADA has not advised any party that AOD-9604 is permitted in sport. ASADA correctly advised ACC that AOD-9604 was not prohibited under S.2 of the WADA prohibited list, however made no reference to its status under S.0. There is no difference between the substances WADA and ASADA consider prohibited.''
