It means preferential seating is for the giants and the expensive memberships the swans fans pay for wont get them in. Of course it affects the crowd size

so we've gone from bearsy's screeching like a banshee efforts of about 15 months ago

This game will be measured against the giants v swans game last year, which was the giants home game and their first game. If they manage to get near that crowd of 38k it would be a great effort.

Dave, if swans members pay hundreds of dollars a year to attend swans home games why would they all attend a game in Sydney where they then have to pay general admittance on top of their membership, against a side that finished bottom of the ladder in 2012?

"All" the swans fans at the game?

You prob didnt meet one of em Xman and stewie you dumb goons.
Me on the other hand? I've met hundreds if not thousands of people whove been to swans games across sydney over many many years and guess what? They either fall into the category of proper supporter with knowledge about the game or 'sydney weekender/chardonnay set'. The proper supporters have acknowledged to me umpteen times that they're the minority a very small minority. And I've seen this to be true from umpteen games at the scg and anz, along with reports from countless other individuals.
Sorry folks but your combined 2 visits to sydney town gives your argument the strength and knowledge of a newborn compared to its daddy. Accept my offerings of knowledge gents, dont push me away, I know soooooooo much more than you.

Beaussie's one of the fans who talks incessantly of the massive chardonnay set and bandwagon syd supporters. He knows the true supporters like himself are the minority in the crowd. As do all the other hardcore supporters. It helps bond them. Xman my child you'veonly seen one game and were more than likely sitting with essendon supporters...You know little more than a foetus knows on this one Xman. I am your father, listen to me.

Stop lying and talking on my behalf. You've been to more AFL games in the last decade than NRL games. Does that make you a bandwagon RL supporter? You do afterall only attend the odd Eels games when its hyped up for weeks. Gee whiz, you give more of your hard earned to the AFL than the NRL and your pathetic Eels. Oh the shame of it all.

You can see them on the TV too KE.
The fact is theyre fans, paying fans with memberships, enjoying the great game of Aussie Rules in greater numbers than ANY NRL club in Sydney :D
Oh KE, seems like youve been caught out lying!

what a surprise

We all know beaussie is a deceipful dishonest online goose. Do you think I didnt know he'd jump in and deny the truth when i posted that last post Xman you confused buffoon?
"you can see them on tv"

Oh Xman, you certainly have lost many braincells since you came on this site.

I know they're 'fans' who pay you dimwit, I'm just informing you of the knowledge and passion these chardonnay sipping weekenders have for the game, it's basically nothing, they dont even know the players names nor the rules of the game and they think the umpire is called a "ref"

Its just the way it is up here matey. Not too dissimilar to those who follow the storm down there id imagine

Hell Xman, I'll acknowledge you prob know more of the AFL than I do, you've caught me out several times with incorrect terminolgy such as "the bench"

, I just know more about how the game is played and skills than you because i play the game each week.
And as for you beaussie. No, i wouldnt say im a bandwagon RL supporter. I went to the eels tigers game last year when eels were already soaring towards the bottom of the ladder, no build up there champ. No I'd say I'm more a mix of the hardcore supporter who knows the game inside out and the 'sydney weekender' I speak of who likes to go to the game when there's nothing else going on on the weekend. I'll still watch a shitload of RL games on the tele each year, many more than in comparison to marngrook.
