Geelong says hello. Three flags, four grand finals, double the average attendance of the Storm and they did it all without breaching the salary cap. Name one single metric by which the Storm are a better club than the Storm?

Premierships? No
Crowds? No
Playing by the rules? No

They do okay the storm. The are very professional I think. They have also brought the best if AFL to rl... The great marks you see more regularly now was pioneered by the storm after taking the training drills Carlton used to their own training. Better than Geelong ??? Geez Geelong have won a lot of games and few gf over the years. And without the salary cap dramas of the storm .

Why not.

If it fills the stadium and the kids want to keep coming back, that's good right?
Agreed. Unless you're GWS or GC, in which case it's fudgey wudgey desperation acording to some.
Because you lot and the arrogant mob down south never tell the truth, it's all spin and propaganda in your and their footy war.

Everyone knows all expansion teams into non heartland areas do it, the Vfl like to put their own interpretation onto it though.

Hahaha, this is a myth and something I have noticed Vfl fans and the unionites mentioning lately.

It's BS, you guys only started going on when Izzy done this, yet the supposedly Vfl made him

He didn't grow up watching Vfl, he grew up watching and playing RL.

I don't think so , I actually think AFL have taken on tackling tactics from nrl as well. I know storm and north trained together and Carlton too. Why wouldn't the storm see taking a mark high up overhead as a useful tactit?

Yes he did that after learning it at storm where they did joint training with AFL. I have heard slater accredited the bag training to the improved marking.

You think kicking the ball to score a try is a recent thing all because the storm are in Vfl heartland?

I'm sorry, but that's laughable.

The Bomb and other cross field type kicks have been around for yonks, long before the storm, and those two suck ups were thought of, how arrogant all round!

Hmmm, they likely developed it further this skill. It is pretty common thing to see in AFL and people go crazy when they see it in the nrl. Storm do state that they use AFL training techniques to improve skills in marking... I think they also get their professionalism from the way the AFL is run too maybe
