That's because some fans (like Manly's) refuse to travel.

Yeah there is! Where are the travelling interstate AFL supporters? NRL fans won't even travel across 2 suburbs! Dont blame the stadiums!

Look at the titans and their quality stadium! Look at the storm! Look at the games at Allianz!

Allianz is a shit venue. The only decent venue in Sydney is ANZ. Parramatta isn't bad. Improve the venues and you'll get fans coming back, even some will travel.

I said decent. It has it's faults. It wasn't built for League after all. It was built for the Olympics. What we need is the perfect venue with a roof. A combination of Wembley and Etihad would do the trick. League fans would flock to that!

It has its faults yet the swans fans flock to it

Your excuses about stadiums is BS anyway given most RL fans prefer the local community grounds over bigger empty stadiums.

League fans prefer BIG venues that are close by, especially Manly fans. That's why they are demanding the government fund improvements to Brookvale. The same is sure to be happening with the other venues, even Parramatta. The biggest problem with ANZ is location. It's in the middle of "nowhere".
Improve all venues, and the crowds will jump.

These RL fans don't want much. A new modern stadium, with a roof, and near by so they don't have to travel.

Well that only applies to a single AFL ground and only for those that live in Melbournes docklands!

amazing how AFL grounds all over the country seem to pack out isnt it?

Plenty of fans. We just need an excuse to travel and better venues, then you'll see us in our true numbers!

True fans travel and pack out even poor stadiums. Bandwagon fans, or occasional fans only go when the conditions are picture perfect. This is the crux of it right there!

True fans expect proper facilities. If they don't get it, they won't go. Fact.
