why would the NRL be supplying millionaire, movie stars or wealthy league clubs with handouts.Thats a bit ignorant. Both NRL and AFL clubs prime objective is to put a winning team on the field. They all recieve handouts for the governing body to help pay costs. Every nRL team gets a handout from the ARLC of around 4m per year. As pies said, every team aims for a winning team. then they give some more to some clubs to pay a higher salary cap
then they give others more because they're struggling
