Yeah, general admission selling out isnt a valid excuseRaiderdave wrote:Drac wrote:Remember when the excuse for bad crowds was Olympic Park Stadium. yeah ... it was nearly as stupid as the excuse giggleball fans are using to explain the Swines crowds plummeting this year
a stand being constructed ........

limited general admission also meant the majority was at a higher price than normalRaiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:Yeah, general admission selling out isnt a valid excuseRaiderdave wrote:

Oh dear, first they whined they couldn't attract crowds at a run down Olympic Park. They then are gifted a brand spanking new, purpose built, rectangular stadium next door and they still whine to justify abysmal crowds for the premiers Melbourne Storm. Give us a break will ya.Striker wrote:Fantastic? Have you been there? It's not much better than Olympic Park!Drac wrote:Remember when the excuse for bad crowds was Olympic Park Stadium. They would if given a big enough stadium! That league hating mayor of Melbourne cut us back limiting capacity to 30,000 (and we had to fight for that and only got it because he decided to back the Victory!) when the original plan and the foundations actually laid was for 50,000! The change in plans affected the planning and left us fans more exposed than we would have otherwise been!Beaussie wrote:Oh dear, first they whined they couldn't attract crowds at a run down Olympic Park. Melbournians it seems will never embrace the Storm no matter how many premierships are gifted to them by their owners the ARLC/News Ltd.
Why the fuck would the Victorian Government waste money by making the MRS 50,000 when it never sells out? The Storm especially - who can't even average over 15 yetStriker wrote:They would if given a big enough stadium! So the reason you dont sell out the storms stadium is because its not big enough?.......Striker wrote:They would if given a big enough stadium!
