I contacted the researchers involved in the study two days ago tlpg and showed how you'd quoted it. They said their study was doomed from the start and folks that quote it in the context you have have got rocks in their heads.

I do agree with it. I listen to experts and they are experts. If you want to question the experts I'm not stopping you. You're stopping yourself because you're too scared to be proved wrong. Fact is, thugby is a more violent sport than football and this study bears that out. Posting links to prove a point does not make me the writer of said content linked, and trying to impute that I am is a cowardly way to go.

TLPG man up. You posted something here that is clearly wrong take responsibility for it. More people DIE mining. Dying is a result of dangerous activity in mining and for you to stand behind a crackpot survey that dismisses death as a non excitant result of mining and compares it to a sport where I don't recall anyone dying from (if there has been it certainly wasn't more than the three that died in Qld mining last year) says a lot about you. For you to disregard deaths of these mine workers for the sake of your hopeless argument shows what kind of person you are.

I'd consider rucking along with being a bench player tougher than umping. Soccer is much tougher than umpiring too, as is netball and playing in all other sports.

That's what you said, thereby imputing that umpiring is easy and not tough. You haven't umpired a single game, because you aren't allowed to. Accreditation (which I have) is compulsory. Social games don't count.

So - do you have the guts to start training as an umpire? Prove you're a man and go for it!
