Read again Beau it says both Homebush and Homebush Bay are east of Homebush West so using logic (I know it's hard buddy but I'm sure you are capable of it) if it's east of some place that is considered "inner west" it can only be concidered "inner west" as well, or inner inner west" or maybe "inner north east west", but not west.

It sure is hard trying to have a logical debate with these AFL types.

I only just looked at that Wiki link now, you liar! You changed that on your quote! It says;

And I checked Homebush as well just to make sure and it said the same thing!!

The thing is while wiki says its a wesern suburb of sydney, the majority of sydneysiders dont. I'd like to be the first to say I'm happy to insult TLPGs inlaws on this one. The majority of sydneysiders consider parramatta as the gate to sydneys west. Homebush (15km from the city centre) as a western suburb indeed...

I live in Liverpool close to parra, not once have a heard Homebush being Sydney's west. They are the inner west and not classed as the West anymore.

So the Olympics was held in western Sydney hey? Fuk us western Sydney folk are the bomb . We can run the best Olympics ever but cant run successful football teams bar the dogs off course... :D

Really? You clearly know nothing then. Try telling uppity Swans fans living in the eastern suburbs that games at ANZ Stadium are played in the inner west. Wake up stupid, everyone knows Olympic Park is in Sydney's west.

When I posted my original link that stated Homebush was inner west. When I clicked on the link this morning the inner had been removed. I didn't realise it till just now that wiki can be "edited" by anyone. TLPG do you know who may have made the alteration? It has reverted to inner west now but I suspect "someone" may go in and change it again. Can I rely on you as a fellow mod to be vigilant and make sure its not changed again TLPG??

Posting again to say that I looked at the history and the "inner west" hasn't been there for long in Wikipedia terms it would appear. You caught it when it was there. It doesn't mean the edit you picked up is right, so stop relying on it.

Homebush, Homebush West and especially Homebush Bay (as Beau pointed out with proof) are west, not inner west.

You have lost all creditability with me TLPG. Lets look at the history of the editing of that wiki entry. The one that I had quoted had been there from before I made the quote. The same day that I quoted it "someone" has gone in and changed it. I wonder who?


Just a bit of history on the editing. The previous entry was "....... is a suburb of Sydney". On 9 August 2007 it was updated to read "........is a suburb of inner western Sydney" (not a recent change) on 10/7/12 changed to omit the "inner" and back to the inner western Sydney as of 14/7/12. So it is back to what it has been for the last 5 years.

TLPG you should bow your head in shame you distorter of truth. You stoop lower than any man I've seen stoop to make things look as though you are right. You lower the moral standing of this website and beaussie is an absolute clown for installing you as a moderator.
