Souths didnt play the eels last night, i think they played canterbury.

But yes what a win for RL with the SOO killing it in the ratings. You're right mark, the AFL crew just cant handle it so they resort to attendances.

We can handle it. You're the ones going on and on about it, because it's all you've got! We've got members and crowds - and that's what makes the world go around in sport! A sport that relies on TV ratings of rep games is a massive fail just waiting to happen.

They have a victory in ratings for 3 games, but when the reality of their season returns two days later we see the true passion people have for RL......

Unfortunately you're right again there piesman. Something seriously wrong with that club from the top tiers of governance down...I've got a 45 yr old bottle of peter sterling testimonial port sitting on the shelf, just waiting for the day the eels win so it can be drunk. I could be an old man before I get to down it.

I watched about half the souths V eels game last night. Theres something wrong with the eels, if they cant even beat the prerenial chockers.
Derp!

Yes, all those Russian, spanish, dutch, argentine and so on sports crowds are going to kill their comps because their crowds aren't massive, everyones watching them on TV ](*,)

That's the story for the NRL. They have 3 well supported gams but an entire season that struggles.

How far behind are they in the ratings already this year? 10 million?

Look who's talking, dunderhead! Popular sports pull crowds! Or do you seriously think that a sport can live 100 percent on TV? Really? [-X

Ummmm, have you seen the most popular ball game on Earth?

I guess not, because if you had, most of that codes competitions are not being attended like Manfuckingchester United, yet they are going from strength to strength from the sale of their TV rights.

I know what the crowds averages are, idiot! German soccer has a higher crowd average than the AFL! English soccer is only just behind, and Spain, Mexico and Italy are in the top ten of averages - all well ahead of the NRL!

(For the record, number 1 in the averages is American Gridiron)

Of course they do! That was my point! I merely picked out the biggest ones - and you with your blinkered vision decided to be dang literal (like the "dumbarse" YOU are)!

So wtf do crowds have to do with it then seeing as that's what you are raving about and now seem to have backflipped? #-o
