For the first 3 rounds the NRL crowds are down 4% on last year. Not great when 2011 was down on 2010. In fact it is the second worst start in 6 years and 10% down on 2008.

Despite a new Independant commission the NRL is on the nose it appears.

This years crowds are shocking even despite the weather and show how feeble the supporters of your code really are.

What's up with the FTA ratings too? fN at 9.30 and Sunday afternoon aren't even rating in the top 20!

I would like an answer to that too. Going to fire off an email to some journos at the Daily Telegraph (Rebecca Wilson?) and Sydney Morning Herald. Perhaps they can shed some light on why NRL tv ratings have been so disappointing this season and well down on last season. As you say Xman, not even registering if the Top 20.
