It's an Australian game played by australians, which include many indigenous Australians. If it was played professionally overseas there would be more ethnic groups playing.

How ethnically diverse is Gaelic football? Or NFL? The vast majority of their players are from that country because the sport is limited to that country essentially.

Does that make these sports racist? If AFL is racist why are they trying to expand to china, RSA, NZ?

Again I ask what multicultural programs does the NRL have? Nothing it appears. What a disgrace.

Anyway back on topic, Telstra has signed and delivered on its contract with the AFL.

In the NRL, they haven't even sat down at the negotiating table and the recent Optus court decision looks like a disaster for the NRL. David Gallop even suggests that.
