I'm not even reading his posts. I already know there are lil expat comps around the world. They're:
1. not televised
2. not attended
3. not professional
4. generally only played by expats
5. prone to falling over/lacking sustainability
6. often only involve a few games or less per 'season'
7. often only involve a few teams per country
8. as raiderdave says, really just for giggles and a beer after the match, hence completely unimportant but for those who participate.
Take it from me nsw, I've got real experience in international aussie rules. You AFL lot are all completely deluded as to the relevance and importance of these microbial spec comps outside of Australia.
And i think i mentioned it somewhere else but lets not forget, Earth = Rugby League Heartland

Dunce, there is genuine NON ex-pat AFL being played in other countries. The International Cup is proof of this. No ex-pats can play in that competition. So don't tell me it's not relevant or important. I've said it before; from acorns grow oak trees.

I think there are only two countries in Europe that play it seriously. Britain and France.

Fellas, please refer to my posts indicating the state of international aussie rules in the BS file "The RFL is bigger than..."
Quite astounding to see the photos and videos when you google Aussie rules two biggest international comps, the euro and international cup. In the european cup final, the only visible crowd behind a shot of fellas holding the cup appears to be about 5.
In the 2011 pool D matchup between England vs Wales, although the picture doesnt show everything, my est. of the crowd woud be max 60 people
Even worse, they were kicking the aussie rules ball between rugby league goal posts! Thats right! :D RUGBY LEAGUE posts for the international aussie rules cup!

In China the link didnt look like AR at all!
I dont know for sure whether AR is greater than RL in those countries but i will agree though that there are less than amateur, unstable, unsustainable, unsupported, uncoordinated, underfunded, below underground, unenviable, unskilled small groups of transient expat lead unfit men playing an unprofessional undermanned inconsistent games of Australian Rules Footy on unrecognisable fields in those countries. And if thats greater than RL? So be it

No. Actually I think it implies that RL generally runs sustainable and highly professional comps o/s.
To your other rather lame comments. Well its not AFL being played in Newcastle, its ARF. You should agree with me on that.
I did accept the overall AR participation rates, I cant agree they're accurate but I have no big problem with the 100,000 stated. I have a problem with the light in which you put these participation rates and the clubs which are formed (and often deformed). They're much less organised and coordinated than the amateur leagues in aus and you know it.
They are rugby league posts, just look at em. RL is dominating AR o/s you need to understand this otherwise I will continue posting my fact filled arguments based on personal experience and evidence. :D
