Re: BS file claim#3: Newcastle play AFL
Where does the Newcastle AFL team play?
What colours do the team wear in the AFL?
Who's their captain for Newcastles AFL club?
How long have they played in the AFL comp?
What TV station broadcasts their games?
What emblem do they wear?
Have they won a flag? lol
Won a spoon?
Do they get cap help like the 4 other Northern based AFL team have and do?
Who kicked their first goal in the AFL?
Who kicked their first behind in the AFL?
Who kicked the first goal against them in the AFL?
Who kicked the first behind against them in the AFL?
What is their crowd average in the AFL?

I have answered the relevant questions already. You said they play don't play AFL in Newcastle. I have proven that they do. Any claim that Newcastle play in the Australian Football League is not relevant to this claim.

I dont think they play AFL there cos told us its called Australian football. You need to get your terms right in future nswafl if you want to be respected as a real supporter. Punish him and he will learn, award the BS point to the littlest AFL fan

Re: BS file claim#3: Newcastle play AFL
It doesnt matter whether novocastrians call it AFL. They're incorrect and deserve to have steaming piles of BS thrown in their faces for it. We here at TF are trying to make this site accurate and valid. Xman, you didnt create these files to perpetuate incorrect BS did you? No you want informed and valid statements as outcomes of your BS file creation.
Punish the littlest AFL fan for his BS, set a strict good example for this file early and we shall all reap the rewards of it later.

Re: BS file claim#3: Newcastle play AFL
Fact remains the game of ARs is called AFL by many including the largest league in Australia. This proves that Newcastle play AFL.King-Eliagh wrote:Then half the country and not surprisingly the AFLare wrong! please see my 'new name for ARF in the fightclub and help this silly organisation get their name sorted for good.

It means for many people, including those living in the very place we are debating, use the terms AFL and ARs interchangeably! =D>

That's right KE you have to get your terms right.King-Eliagh wrote:You need to get your terms right in future
Yes, I said the formal name is "Football" or "Australian Football".King-Eliagh wrote:I dont think they play AFL there cos told us its called Australian football.
It's called AR or AFL.
I ask people to use the formal name and the people like parafeel call it "AFL".
In NSW and Qld AF is marketed and called AFL.
I believe Newcastle is still in NSW.
Again I say this is bs arguing about bs , we all know parafeel use AFL for AR.
Nice try Cos.
Re: BS file claim#3: Newcastle play AFL
King, you can't change the AFL marketing stragedy just on your say so. It's how they promote it, and it works! Why stop doing something that works?

Re: BS file claim#3: Newcastle play AFL
Its innacurate and confusing. The sport is successful but could be more with a better name, especially internationally like I suggested in the FC.
But lets get back on topic. So what are the correct terms we should be using regarding the AFL and the sport on this site to be accurate and valid?

Re: BS file claim#3: Newcastle play AFL
To me the AFL is the premier competition and Australian Rules is the sport, hence the littlest AFL fan should be punished.
