Do they?
I thought they had crowds easily inside the top 20 in the world.

What, prove it's not inside the top 20 football codes ?
parafeel, you seem to be losing it. Get a grip of yourself. (If you have a grip of yourself then let go)
Take a break and chill out. Losing the debate is no reason to lose your mind.

Have to respond to this one.
Hey, Eel - the AFL has the third highest average crowd in the world of any sport. Only the gridiron in the US and the German soccer comp has a higher average. The NRL is in the top 20, but JUST - at number 19! And the list doesn't include the NBA, which if you scroll down further as an indoor sport outdraws the NRL! Note also that the Super 15 beats the NRL!

And the numbers are all sourced elsewhere OFF Wikipedia if you want to laugh at WP.

Another win for the AFL backed by stats from the ABS.
Amazing isn't it just how large the gap between the codes is when it comes to participant numbers. Huge isn't it.

It's a thugs sport that requires little skill. Mostly backwards ball throwing. How one can describe it as football is beyond belief.

Yep, reading through this thread again it's clearly a win to the AFL.

It's not football. AFL is football, even though the powers that be tell us that soccer is called football and we have to live with that.
