So you think the disadvantages should only be outweighed by off field assistance. I'm not sure how that would fix players going home and not having any depth when just new. The fact they were the whipping boys for years suggests that it had little impact at start .. Several years. Hasn't helped the Suns either.

Being a start up club I think some draft concessions were appropriate. They went a totally different way to the Suns on picks so good management there.

The other thing, with them being the easy beats for so long, it could be argued that was unfair too but on them. Young kids against men, poor facilities, thrown together etc.

Anyway, your passion for AFL is welcomed even if it passionately against it. It is quite the focus it draws from you, albeit for the wrong reasons no doubt. Just don't let it consume you.

In AFL the club doesn't have to ..the AFL give certain clubs more than others ...legalised cheating to try to ensure a clubs success ...a rigged compromised comp .

gws are meant to represent western sydney(even if they play in the inner west) and Canberra, NRL(i do not like nrl either btw) NRL have 5 clubs based with GWS area's that i know of so its kinda unfair to compare the memberships unless you combine those 5 clubs memberships and compare with that

actually GWS for some insane reason are linked with another club that plays aussie rules in Manly so we have to count that as part of their area

nrl clubs are notorious for including baby 3-game and 5-game passes and passing them off as season ticket holders in their membership counts

And what would you compare the Storm with all the memberships in Melbourne?? And since when does a club adopting a playing strip and mascot count as an inclursion into another area - so when the Altona Roosters step onto the field they are now part of East Sydney? It seems your just shifting the goal posts to suit your argument - West Syd has how many people?? The test is what people are willing to reach into their pocket and spend - not what they might take a casual interest in.

their rate of growth has been slow and steady! but when you compare the NRLOL clubs have had a 60 year head start & is what is considered league heart land!
