Anywho i shouldn't get off subject.. Tickets going on sale early has its pros and cons! can anyone tell me the price of an NRL grand final ticket? Every time i get keen to goto an AFL grand final i cant find tickets any cheaper than $1200.
Or am i not looking in the right spot?
i cant imagin paying that much for a grand final ticket then my team not playing but i guess if NRL tix were reasonable it wouldnt be so bad.
tickets to the AFL GPF don't have a face value of $1200 ... so thats an absurdity right there
anyone who purchases a ticket for that sort of money even from a scalper .. certainly in light of what occured last year ... needs to be committed
the idiots who paid that money saw a game of football ... that during the year they'd of only paid $20 to get into
any sane person who forked out that sort of dough & got dudded by the ridiculous conclusion
won't make that mistake again

NRL GF tickets range from 100 to $250

That's right kaskill. I've been lucky enough to see all Grand Finals the Swans have been in since 1996 as a result of being in the cheer squad originally then as a premiership club member where grand final tickets are guranteed.

BTW, all grand finals I've been to had a result on the day. Only one was a good result for us Swans supporters though :(

Just goes to show the AFL Grand Final is a must see event that the people of Australia are willing to pay upto thousands of dollars to be part of. Meanwhile, tickets that have been on sale for months now to the NRL Grand Final still remain unsold with many returned for refunds. :(/

we give our fans an oppotunity to avoid a mad dash & committ early , & they do .... as the finals sort themselves out & we get closer to
knowing the combatants , hardly any of the 69K on offer in July are left ... & the final allocation of 14K to the 2 grand final clubs ..& any unsold in the presale, are gone on the Monday very quickly ... last year it was 25 minutes
the lunacy at the end of the AFL GPF last year will make plenty re-consider forking out money for packages in the thousands when there is no guarantee that all they are watching is just another game of football

heck its not even that .. its potentially just a glorified trial

at least in a club game you get 2 points if you draw in the AFL
the 2 sides in the first hit out last year got .. nothing .. doughnut ...
a duck egg  8-[

That's funny, there are plenty of tickets still available for the NRL Grand Final on the Ticketek website. This despite the tickets being on sale for months now. I guess there would be heaps still available considering so many have been returned for a refund. Must see event... hilarious. :_<>

if there were 5k tickets left you'd say theres plenty ... & in truth there probably isn't many more then that
&
we're still 6 weeks away from our GF ... an actual proper one
& unlike your snorefest of a predictably boring comp

ours is open & will be full of twists in the coming weeks with
most fans very unsure as to wether their team will make it past week 1 of the finals let alone to the GF ..
well maybe Storm fans as I think they've sewn up the minor premiership & will at least be there in week 2

I can tell you now
our fans aren't conable fools like boggerball fans ... you go to a GF you shouldn't be treated like sh.it & possibly not see the premier that day
those fans have supported the game all year & pay the big bucks not to be treated like morons

we don't allow our biggest day to be turned into a farce .. a circus ... an episode of charlie chaplin

if AFL fans clamour to see a potential farce then its says a lot about them
& it aint good ... its sad :?

Our Grand Final sellouts in a matter of hours. Yours on the other hand is on sale for months and still nowhere near a sellout. In fact many tickets have been returned for refunds. Says it all really.

put the AFL's on sale in July..... in a comp as even as the NRL's
& it wouldn't

put the NRL's on sale the day after the prelim final
& ours would sell out in a few hours too

not really much of a point there beaussie

We don't need to sell tickets for months in advance as we know the demand outstrips the supply and tickets are snapped up by Australians in a matter of hours. Your code on the other hand looks desperate trying to ensure a sellout crowd in a much smaller stadium through the sale of tickets months in advance. Still struggling to sell tickets too I might add and lets not forget all the returns for refunds. :(/

we don't need to either .... it makes sense to

the NFL announce their superbowl venue a year in advance & sell tickets just like we do
a portion when the venue is annouced ... the rest to the competing teams 2 weeks prior to the game

tell me are they worried about not selling out too
no
they are a smart organisation like the NRL

not run by dribblers ... & certainly not supported by dribblers
like the AFL is

Um, comparing yourselves to the NFL now eh? Oh dear. You're not even in the AFL's league let alone the NFL's. Wake up to yourself dribbler. #-o

The NRL is infact run by just as badder dribblers than any other and as for being a smart organisation?? Come on raider fair enough you luv ur code but isnt that just plain ridiculous?
