Even though you have some evidence of fudging crowds beaussie, this doesnt mean the crowds still arent rising. I've been watching many a game and with mine own eyes there is a clear visible increase. The stats back it up and a couple of dodgy daily telegraph shock pieces rarely represents reality.

Yes E .. our code is well on track to have its highest average in its HistoryKing-Eliagh wrote:It seems Raider says Sydney crowds are fine and actually improving Beaussie. 17000 is well above what I recall just a few years ago.
And I tend to believe Raider above yourself with these figures Beassie as I recall a time when you and TLPG told me that Raider was wrong one time - I spent 20mins of my valuable time checking the numbers and he was right.
I wouldnt say I'm not passionate enough to go to a game, just been very busy this year. I've always only gone to one to three matches per year and I'm content with that. It doesnt mean I'm not passionate about the game at all. I watch several games every weekend on tv. I've only been to one AFL game so far this year also but because its not the best to watch on tv I only watch about one game each fortnight, and usually not the whole game.
I agree with you that being at the match is a good experience though.
& despite the inane bleatings of Beaussie whos every negative word about our game is to be taken with a grain of salt with ..no knowledge no facts ... no Idea
the NRL has never been stronger .
We are on the dawn of an even more golden period from 2013 when we become cashed up aswell ... & will not only run the AFL outta town in our states ... but begin to take the fight to them ... in theirs

Although I enjoy the sport of Aussie Rules I must say I dont enjoy how their fans are so ignorant and up themselves.
It would be nice to see this happen, just to see the faces and reactions of those AFL fans like onions, TLPG, AFL 'warrior'
, and Beaussie.
It's gunna be an interesting 5 yrs

the Storm don't control the attendances at the new AAMI ParkBeaussie wrote:Fudging crowd figures will get you nowhere. No one (even NRL officials like the CEO of the Melbourne Storm) even believes the crowds posted by NRL clubs. How pathetic that your much talked about increase in crowds is a result of fudging the numbers. Pathetic and hilarious at the same time.Raiderdave wrote:ours continues to rise
who's catching who
& there wasn't too much fudging going on last Friday 23K for the Storm V Broncos .... universally bagged as being well under the real figure of at least 28K
Obviously AFL merkins in there mucking around with the real figure
they'll have to post the " real " crowd in a few weeks against the Dragons
there won't be a seat spare ... 30K

Look Raider, no one takes you or the crowd figures posted by NRL clubs seriously. You lot have lost all credibility when it comes to crowd numbers. Even the Melbourne Storm CEO admits it. Stop trying to distort the facts.

as thats all it was ... that Victorian Merkin wouldn't know cr@p from clay
as I've said before .. this was a lame attempt at pay back for the NRL punishing the Storm for their Salary Cap breaches
he'd have no idea whats going on ... he didn't even know what was going on in his own club

yeah ... sure TurnipOnions wrote:The only person who has no ******* idea in this fight is you, Raider Boy! The crowd was 23K at AAMI Park. ******* live with it! Gauci has called out the other NRL clubs because he knows they're jealous of the Storm's comeback this year on the field! Payback? **** off!
