oh and in the meantime the "tribal" NRL drew less over the weekend that the first three games of the apparently less tribal AFL.
all dumbourne teams
all at the same venue ...but
who had the home ground advantage

.... NO ONE .. THATS WHO
Not everyone needs to play at shoebox size stadiums. Most of the Melbourne clubs have existed since before there was a rugby league. Also tribal? Penrith fans are so fucking tribal they can't be added supporting a team playing 20 minutes doen the road. That's fucking lazy.
home grounds ?
what are they ?

sport in a plain wrapper
no wonder its never done anything as a sport outside of a few insignificants shitholes in one country

the AFL tribalism out grew tiny shitty stadiums, the fans out grew the chip on the shoulder and dont need the long list of excuses as to where the nonexistent fans are

stadium capacity is 27k
with the biggest crowd being 24k against Collingwood
and in that game it looked like every seat was taken.
18k against Sydney... 9k empty seats... has logic i guess
it holds 25K
https://www.austadiums.com/stadiums/carrara-stadium
& I can see 9K empty seats in that shot right there alone & it looked the same all around the venue
about a 3rd full...
crowd was no more then 9K
i googled Carrara Stadium and it came up 27k but ok.
last seasons game against collingwood looked Packed, but with 6k less it looks empty

You truly have no idea what happens outside the fumble bubble do ya Wacko. No elite football code in the world operates like the AFL. London has 7 EPL teams. Each has a home ground ya dill.
Home ground support in the EPL is rabid. Laws were made to tone it down. There is a big bad world out there Wacko. Do yaself a favour and stick ya head outta the bubble and check it out pal. You might even learn something.
Have a great day and wack on bro.

are you one of those big bad brave but rare NRL fans that put on the legionnaire helmet like a tough knight, leaves there own suburb to head up the road 5 kms to see your team play another NRL team?
the AFL is the 3 or 4th highest attended sport in the world on averages some 38k with a population 27 million a stadium now days coast 1 billion plus. the AFL fans arent scared like the NRL fan and can leave the house and there suburb and watch a game
trying to explain building costs to or anything money & running costs is something well beyond the capabilities of understanding for any NRL fan
stick to that bubble Terrence and keep accusing others of living in it!

Reports that very few tickets are left for sale for the Q Clash this Sunday night in Brisbane.
Wonderful news to hear for footy in Queensland on the same weekend as NRL Magic Round.
Now, big question remains, can the Suns beat the Lions?

Wackjob, per head of population fumbleball gets the biggest crowds in world sport by a big margin. So well done for that. It is an outlier.
But there is a reason for that pal. Melbon is a shit hole. And the other fumbling powerhouses are nothing more than desert state capitals.
The poor folk need something to take their minds off their miserable existence. And the fumbling game is it. Its like therapy Wacko. A sugar hit. A feelgood drug.
And long may it be so Wacko. Its no wonder the fumble state governments pour so much money into the mess. If they didn't have it to obsess with the masses would riot in the streets.

thats an upsetting fact for you isnt it Terrence.
so going by League theory NRL fans sont like to leave there special comfort zone of home and suburb to travel 15 minutes up the road the next suburb as its big and scarey
therefore the AFL fans are brave and League fans chicken shit?
