But it was raining ……

Na seriously - FTA ratings are only part of the story and we have no way of knowing what stv ratings are given the changes from last year.
well we got some info on the NRL's 2025 STV ratings fwed
they're UP .. 12.5%
Magic round was up 20% on 2024's numbers ... & 2024's magic round had several games recording record ratings to date

not a word on the derping & noodle arms tho
gee,,,wonder why :-k

suffice to say
nothing has changed ... the NRL is continuing its domination of that coverage on top of its FTA ratings being through the roof too

LOL Freddy your embarrassing yourself now..

FTA numbers we have in fine print..

NRL we have have a 12.5% rise on FOX 2025

AFL have a 16% rise on streaming on FOX 2025

even at best if you allocated a 16% across the entire FOX GROUP for AFL

it still does not come close to the NRL figures..

as it is only a 3.5% rise on NRL even with exclusive saturdays and content plus delayed games.

Yet again yesterday, we had split scheduling and tv ratings not available for Saturday afternoon AFL. Carlton vs Greater Western Sydney was shown on Channel 7 and 7plus in Sydney/NSW, and Hawthorn vs Brisbane was broadcast in Brisbane/QLD on 7mate and 7plus. Again no tv ratings for these capitals, regionals or BVOD.

It’s impossible to accurately report any averages or cumulative FTA or STV ratings for the AFL with so much missing data.

but but but but
anyone thinking the ratings are going to make much difference to those astoundingly pathetic ratings is having a fiddle of their diddle       :(/ :(/

The wions ratings in brisvegas have been weirdly low in 2025 , their winning the comp last year has not resonated with the locals much at all
& more people would have been watching ads for nose hair electrolysis machines on the ad channel then the grants in Sydney

204K goes to 254K ... max
thats 4 capitals , 3 games .....       :(/ :(/

wow
just wow

because we're back to Sat FTA games now outside of vicdumboh

& last night we got some indication of how many may have signed up for the 1st 11 weeks of the comp
answer

not many

as it is only a 3.5% rise on NRL even with exclusive saturdays and content plus delayed games.
Prior to finals
the NRL's total average STV audience in 2024 was around the 500K mark per game
The singlets & bumbles .. 400K
so..
based on the assumption that , its a16% increase for the stumbles & misses across foxtel
then their average figure per game is sitting at 464K

the NRLs with its 12.5% increase
563K a game

they haven't bridged the gap at all       :(/ :(/

Firstly - great job imitating aflcrsp - asif in first line - you forgot to write fwed and use a hundred emojis though :)

Secondly - How so - I’m saying even guessing stv ratings is comprised - even if subscriptions are up doesn’t bexesssrily mean ratings are up - and I’m not trying to say one is better than the other - I’m saying at best we are guessing what stv is. Once they release the actual figures for stv we will know - in the meantime it’s just speculation - particularly since circumstances have changed so much since last year. Who knows - maybe people said jam AFL for not having live on FTA Saturday and ratings are down ??

Not bad considering 7mate - and piez playing at almost same time.

Yes - I get that figure was released - and as you said it can give you something - but it’s still just a guess - and again - was it subs up that amount or ratings up ?
