I present FNF as it is broadcast in the respective markets. I don't see a problem with that. You're clearly prefer to confuse the situation by adding two different games in different markets to claim some kind of victory. Regionals are provided where available for major sporting events eg: SoO and finals. Late night tv ratings from non heartland areas are very difficult to find. Where available, they are posted.

eels fan, I take if you don't like the weekly round totals. No surprises there, they don't paint a good picture for the NRL that's for sure with the NRL smashed by the AFL week after week, season after season. You need a national competition like us to get anywhere near us in the future. Not likely to happen anytime soon after the expansion disasters for the NRL in Adelaide, Perth and even QLD. Suck it up princess.

It has already been established that the correct cumulative numbers are 85 millions for the AFL and 72 millions for the NRL in 2011.

Yes, thanks for that. I'm not a great fan of cumulative figures especially when applied to ratings.
In this case, because the seasons are of similar duration there is some validity in comparison however a simple weekend snap shot of attendances or ratings should be sufficient for any independant observer that the number one football code in Australia is Australian Football.
