bar the 1st game in 2016 >> was against warriors which is always a good turn out.

the Titans have taken 2 games to country areas.

Gladestone and Toowoomba due to the comm games.

suns have sold a game to fremantle and will play a game in Cairns.

Gold Coast Titans officially announce new owners

As many have predicted..

THE Titans have hit the ground running in their new incarnation, landing former Brisbane chair Dennis Watt to play a key role at the NRL club.
Watt, who has been spotted at the Titans’ Parkwood base this morning ahead of the formal announcement of Darryl Kelly and Rebecca Frizelle as new owners of the club, is expected to become chairman on the Gold Coast

Yep. They've pretty well gone with the safe pair of hands. The best part of the news is that they've bought in Dennis Watt to be the executive chairman - he's a top operator. Plus the losing bidder Stuart McAulliffe has stated he would still like to get involved in some way. This has been handled very well by the NRL.

Funding at the suns for 2018 has increased

The news came in the same week it emerged the AFL had increased its financial support for expansion team Gold Coast by $5.5 million to $25 million.

St Kilda were funded by the AFL last year to the same level as expansion market clubs Greater Western Sydney and the Brisbane Lions.
The Saints distribution was $20.6 million and was understood to be the highest of any club not in an expanding market.

The Giants and Lions both received almost $21 million in their AFL distribution. The Lions recorded a net loss of $1.76 million, while the Giants are expected to release their financial result in the next fortnight.
