Hmm interesting. Werent there a few examples of stomping, including head stomping, which were basically dealt with by the AFL with a slap on the wrist for the head stomper?

I have access to literally 30 similar incidents of player & crowd violence at VFL games throughout Sthn Australia

proof definitive that attempting to make your elite players act un naturally & not fight .... does nothing to stop players in lower levels of the game from fighting themselves
& also .... the punishments in the incidents in these VFL leagues are .... as limp wristed as they come
compared to this extraordinary level of reponse by the Brisbane Rugby League ... I mean wow

of course .... VFL players would also appeal any punishments like this ... who wouldn't ?
but when there aren't any
wots to appeal ?

massive issues with junior RL violence have occurred only in the last few months. The evidence is clear. Allowing professional leagues to behave like animals without any retribution only encourages junior players to behave the same way.

Spot on. In fact I argue the VFLs attempts have resulted in increased dirtier unethical forms of violence, such as stomping. This is true.

rubbish. I cant see ive seen all in brawls like seen in QLD junior RL for a long time in ARs. Yet the NRL had 2 in a few weeks which even included stomping on officials heads and parents involved.

An all in brawl occurred during my season playing marngrook just this year Xman you silly dope. Crowd were involved and it went on for minutes. I didnt like it but noone got seriously hurt and the next week it was back to business. Happens in both sports

Cue Xman's response "oh yeah, well you dont eeeeevvveeenn play marngrook. I know because you got the terminology wrong once"

A 15-YEAR-OLD junior rugby league player last night had his appeal dismissed after receiving a two-year ban from the sport following last month's grand final brawls.

A total of 58 players were banned in the aftermath of the vicious fight, with 56 receiving 12-month suspensions and another copping a lifetime exile from the game.

No i was on the other side of the field when it all went down. Have been involved in the odd biffo before, not really keen on it unless its entirely necessary, im always the one dragging folk away
