429k for the same time slot. One game was on FTA though and the other was on FTA in Brisbane. I would call that a draw at worst for us. Essendon v Tigers would have gotten an extra 100k on fox exclusive.

AFL ratings in 297k for fox, giving AFL a total for 1312k for Friday night nationally. Smashing.
Absolute mauling. Wow, just wow. =D>

that's with a make believe regional figure F wit

pies gave the bumbelball 300K in the regionals
& they never get ova 250K

1250 Mill is a lot less ... a pole stroking figure

barely anymore then about 6 NRL games this year & less then several too
oh &
67K in Sydney ....
Nope I gave the about 250k. With 300k regionals it would have been closer to 1.4 million.

Call it what you want, but 497 to 429 is a total arse kicking

Your being quite selective pussycat ... You have to compare total ratings ... No point saying programme A got 30000 on say Gem and therefore rated worse than programme B on 7Mate that got 60000 if same programme on Gem was shown at the same time on 9 and got 100000 on 9.

Selective =D> =D> =D> Total ratings

Both Sides were on Sat night . Both games Totally overlapped. Both games were on Fox . ie Both games were exactly the same...... RESULT = Total Arse Kicking. =D> =D> =D>

Were not comparing 3.3 live games to 1 here! These games are head to head - apples for apples...

Also Sat night, the previous week, 2 matches overlapped at 7.30. NRL 265/125 = 390, AFL 251/106 = 357. Another comfortable win to the NRL, despite 1/4 of there audience not being counted.

AFL people who had Pay TV would hardly be watching FTA coverage.

So Saturday night the AFL had more coverage, so more viewers. But when they went head to head - apples v apples they were soundly whooped yet again.

Yes but you are just comparing pay with pay ... Given more people who follow nrl would have pay as its the only way to really watch it and has been on pay for longer ... It's a different cohort. I think you have to just look at average ratings for a round overall as a measure or just use ftA as everyone has that.

Gee's your a glutton for punishment Phelpsy.
Go back to round 1, That is as close to apples v apples as you'll get. First game of the year - all fans looking forward to kick-off. Nearly all matches live. - easy win to the NRL!

So what's the overall average for nrl v AFL ??? Just use the figures from oz tam as a baseline to keep it simple . I honestly don't know and if nrl is more that's fine ...no biggy . Don't break it down into pay or ftA etc and you can even have Friday night as two games . Just work on the figures we know. Don't get into regionals as arguements over tassie and Newcastle etc . You can have that arguement another day ... Just for now the figures we know for sure .. Averages for each code to round AFL just had 8 ??? I'm just curious .

Cut out half the audience so you lot can keep up, hey?

We cut out Warriors fans. We cut out rep matches and now you want us to cut out country viewers so your lot live happily ever after in your own fantasy word , deluding yourself that your game is just dandy

No lol just trying to get a figure as to ratings in this country. Just seems that everytime a figure is mentioned someone pipes in with ... Yeah but regionals or what about tassie or whatever. I think the AFL are doing pretty well either way whether they get more ratings than nrl or not. Is there somewhere that just reports ratings overall for the country ?? Big footy has wookie present a table each week that had AFL ratings for all if aus. Is there an nrl equivilant. ?? Seriously, I just want to know ... Or is it too hard with each side claiming this that or the other ??
