Why 5 matches of AFL ? And let's compare season to season or round v round ... Had pies get each round total figure averages ?
There yesterdays results.

Averages. for first 3 rounds.

NRL 256 AFL 200

And thats with the AFL coding there ratings differently to maximise ratings.

The AFL's best side on PTV's average is 258 - not really any better than the average NRL game. [-( [-( [-( what a smashing

This is the way it works Phelpsy. Firstly NRL wins with fox ratings on average. Their five games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday all fox exclusive and not competing with each other all rate well. They dominate the AFL games all overlapping each other on Saturday and Sunday and it doesn't matter that all of the AFL games are also on free to air. The NRL also win on Friday nights, they get rating on FTA metro of 700 K and when AFL get similar ratings or even more the NRL still win, it does matter that the AFL is on Fox because you can't add fox national ratings, because this would be unfair to compare them to the NRLs metro only ratings. Therefore the NRL wins the FTA ratings with the biggest FTA ratings for the week. Oh and if the AFL wins the metro the NRL can just add the regional ratings which are much bigger to get in front and therefore still win the FTA ratings. To sum up the NRL wins both the fox and the FTA ratings. They have to win something.

Good results, however in the last two weeks the AFL has had the two top results with 1.7 million on ANZAC day and last friday at 1.6 million. Those numbers really hurt.

ahhh

those numbers are BS

http://www.thinktv.com.au/SiteMedia/w3s ... 202013.pdf

the VFL doesn't even get a mention in the regionals
745K FTA Metro ( no 7mate figures )
309K pay TV

regionals ... cutoff was 956K overall on FTA
so no more then 250K

total without 7 mate
1.304 Million

with 7 Mate about 1.450 Million
& less then the Roosters V Souths NRL game in round 1

http://www.thinktv.com.au/SiteMedia/w3s ... 202013.pdf

ANZAC day for the feeblers was 1.018 Million on FTA ( without 7mate)
397K on pay

that's 1.415 Million without 7 mate

about 1.550 Million with
another 150K less then your laughable figures

the truth
look it up in a dictionary shit for brains
